Trey
"Hey Bella, wassup bruh." I said sitting down on the bleachers in the gym. "So I'm guessing I'm invisible now?" I smirked and looked right at Selena without saying a word. "Ohhhhhh ok, so we doing that fake shit now. Ight, don't expect me to-" "Hey Selena how are you this morning?" I said cutting her off and laughing. She punched me in my arm then turned to talk to Isabella and Angela. "Aye Trey can I talk to you for a minute?" James asked while walking down the bleachers. I followed behind him out of the gym and into the hallway. "Wassup?" I asked him. "What's wrong with Angela man? She's been kind of off since yesterday." "I honestly don't know, I've been trying to ask her but she keeps denying that anything's wrong. But I do think I have a hint of what or who it might be about." James gave me a confused look so I continued to talk to clarify things. "I think she's mad at Isabella. For what? I don't know. But ever since they came to my house and Isabella said something about me and her from 4th grade, Angela hasn't been the same." "Whoa...you said that Isabella said something about you and her?" James asked me. "Yeah, why?" "Nigga think about it. I might be-well was-a player but I know when girls are jealous. There's more to whatever Isabella said about you two than you think."
I sat in first period thinking about what James told me earlier-about the whole Isabella and Angela situation. Maybe he's right. Since it was just the second day of school and my first day in my first period class, I knew the teacher wouldn't let me out. I looked around the class for the first time trying to see if I knew anybody that I talk to. I spotted my nigga Marquez sitting in the back by himself-that's unusual. "Wassup Quez?" I asked before sitting in the desk next to him. "Everything nigga." I stayed quiet for a while because I knew that if Marquez was quiet and not talking to nobody something really bad must've happened. "Well, I ain't going to fuck with you man. Imma go ahead and let you work things out." He gave me a head nod meaning that he heard me and I got up and left him in the back of the class. While I was walking back to my seat I felt a hand touch my arm. "Hey, you're the boy that go with Angela huh?" a girl named Crystal asked me. "Yeah why?" "Just asking to make sure." What the fuck could she mean by that?? I need to get the fuck out of the class and go figure some shit out.
Finally 2:55. I walked out of 7th period as quickly as possible texting Angela to meet me by my car. When I got outside I noticed a girl standing next to my car but I knew for a fact that it wasn't Angela and the closer I got I realized who it was. "Uhh, Bella?" I said walking up to her. "Oh, hey Trey" she said embracing me into a hug. "Hey, I'm sorry if this sounds rude but why are you here?" I said slightly hugging her back. "Oh, I was wondering if I could ride home with you." "Umm, Angela and I were going somewhere I'm sorr-" "Oh its ok. You can just drop me home first. Please...?" she said while rubbing my arm. Ok now shit was getting weird. I removed her hand from my arm and told her "ok". Even though I wanted to tell her no;I couldn't. Its just something about her that makes it hard to tell her no. "I'm staying after school today." Angela finally texted me back 5 minutes later. "Why?? Its the second day of school." I texted back. "I have stuff to do. Talk to you later." As I read that last message my heart sank all the way down to my knees. "What's wrong Treybae?" Did she really just call me that?!? "Ok, Isabella I don't know wassup with you but you going to have to chill with the flirting shit. We had our moment when we were together. I'm with Angela now. Ight?" I said half yelling at her. "I didn't know I was flirting but ok. Can you just drive me home?" I could hear disappointment in her voice. I hate when girls do that shit. I sighed then told her, "Look I'm sorry for screaming at you ok?" "It's ok, I know you were just mad." As I turned the key to start the ignition, I felt Isabella's hand come to my face making me turn my head toward hers. And before I could say anything I felt her lips connect with mine, embracing us in a kiss.
