Selena

I haven't heard from Angela all day since we left school. I was beginning to get worried but then I remembered that she said that she was going out with Trey tonight. *Sigh...* Trey. I swear that boy know he fine ass fuck; but of course I'd never tell him that. To him we're just frenemies but to me we're much more. The only reason why I haven't tried to make a move on him yet was because of Angela. There was no way in hell I wanted to jeopardize my friendship with Angela because of a guy. But then again,it is Trey.....

It was 12:17 in the morning and I still didn't receive a call nor text from Angela. To be honest that was kind of a piss-off to me. I understand that she was with Trey all evening but that didn't mean she couldn't text me at least once; especially when she got home. Even tho it was around midnight and we had school in the morning, I decided to text her anyway. "Hey boo. Why didn't you text me today?" I texted her. 5 minutes later I got a reply back from...TREY! I was so confused. I unlocked my phone and opened the message. "Huh? Who is this?" he texted me. Fuck! I accidentally texted Trey instead of Angela. That's what I get for trying to text at 12:00 in the morning knowing I was sleepy. I had no idea what to do. I didn't want to text him back and tell him that it was me but I knew that if I didn't, he'd either text back later or call my number in the morning. Ughh, fuck my life. It was 12:39am so I decided to ignore his text and try to get some sleep; but as I expected, Trey text back 10 minutes later asking me who I was again...and this time I didn't ignore it.

"Sigh...this Selena." I hesitantly texted back. I looked at the time on my phone and seen that it was 1:00am. "Oh hell no. It's to late at night to be doing this shit." I thought to myself before being interrupted by the vibration of my phone. Ughh! Can he just go to sleep? "Selena? What you doing texting me at 1:00 in the morning? And how did you get my number anyway?" As I read that message from him so many thoughts ran through my mind. I couldn't tell him the truth on how I got his number because then he'd find out about my crush on him. "I was trying to text Angela. My bad for waking you up or whatever goodnight." I sent back trying to sound rude. Less than a minute later he texted back saying, "Why you decided to text her so late? What is so important that it couldn't wait until the morning? And you still didn't answer my question on how you got my number." Fuck!! Why does Trey have to be so damn persistent. Instead of texting him back I just turned off my phone and went to sleep. I wasn't about to let Trey De'shawn Thomas ruin my night...even though, as awkward as it was, I kind of enjoyed our conversation.

I woke up at 5:00am to get ready for school. Since I barely got any sleep last night because of the Trey situation, I was extremely tired. After doing my morning routine, I turned my phone on. To my surprise, I had 5 unread messages from Trey along with 2 miss calls and 1 unread message from Angela. I chose to read Angela's text first since I was so eager to hear from her. "Goodmorning boo! Sorry I didn't text you last night. When I got home I went straight to sleep. But I have soo much to tell you!" I read her message twice to make sure I didn't miss anything. I was a little surprised that she didn't mention the Trey situation but then realized that maybe he hadn't told her yet-if he decided to tell her at all.

After texting Angela back, I looked at the 5 messages from Trey and hesitated for a good 3 minutes before opening them. Message one read, "Why haven't you texted back??" The second read, "Are you ignoring me now? We're to old to he playing games like this." Three and four read, "SELLEENNAA!!" And the fifth one read, "Goodmorning Lena(: hope you actually text me back this time." I stared blankly at the last text he sent. Did he really just put a smiley face and ask me to text him back? I can't lie, I do love the fact that he wants to talk to me but I just-can't. If I were to talk to Trey more often then my feelings would grow stronger for him and that would cause problems with Angela and I; and that's the last thing I would want to happen.
