It felt like a lifetime as you sat in stunned silence. Eventually, Charles ran in. "(Y/N)!?" He shouted with much concern. He assesed the situation. "Raven, please could you leave (Y/N) alone." He turned to you and apologised. "What is she?" Raven asked. But Charles just asked her to leave again.
When she had left, Charles once again turned to you. "I really am sorry. I will introduce her to you properly along with some others, tomorrow. That is if you will stay?" You nodded slowly, still a bit frightened. "Great. I will leave you for the rest of the day.

I must be crazy. Really crazy. I'll just take it one day at a time. And Charles is really kind. How can I be worse off here?
