He soared perfectly, though I never doubted him for a moment. He hit the waters quickly.
"Banshee's got a location on Shaw." I said, looking at Erik. "You ready for this?"
"Let's find out." The plane flew close to the waters, so that it would be easier for Erik. He was struggling. Remember; the point between rage and serenity. I could see the submarine getting closer to the surface. He did it! The plane ascended, the submarine following. One of Shaw's men got out and decided to cause trouble. "Erik, take my hand!"
(Author's POV)
You could see a hurricane building up outside. "Hold on guys..." Hank warned "It's going to get bumpy." You clutched your seat so hard that your knuckles turned white. For the second time in that journey; it did get bumpy. But, whereas before it was more of a swerving, this time you were being ripped to shreds. You could die this very moment... And you couldn't even imagine what danger Charles would be in. Perched on the door of the plane... You couldn't help but start to weep a little. Nobody noticed you, heck, they could have been crying themselves, and you couldn't tell. But it did make you feel somewhat cowardly, somewhat helpless.
You crashed. There are no other words to describe it. The plane landed upside down. You went invisible, which meant that you were alive, but you couldn't undo it at the moment. You saw Charles walking in your direction. Thank goodness he was okay. "(Y/N)? (Y/N), are you alright?"
"Uh, uhm, not really." He must've realised that you were invisible. Alright, (Y/N). We're all alive and we're going to get through this. Right now, I need you to calm down. Okay? You took a deep breath and looked into Charles' eyes. You had to do this. You had to do this for him.
