Teacher Love

It's been a week since all this went down. Heather hasn't been home and I'm really worried. I filed a missing person report the second day she didn't return home.

They found her car in a ditch 60 miles from here. They didn't find her. That made me scared that she could be kidnapped or worse.

I miss her. I wish none of this every happened. She's my baby girl.

"Erick we will find her man". Jordan said

"I hate what I did". Jessica said crying

"Baby calm down she would have found out sooner or later". He went over and hugged her.

"It's been a week she hasn't been to school I'm worried. This is all my fault".

"No it's all my fault". I said

I sat in my chair. "What we did 18 years ago was the worst mistake ever".

"Yes but we got Heather out of it".

"But Heather thinks Mia is dead but she left me cause she couldn't stand me and if she could she would have taken Heather".

"We have been lying too much to her my mom even thinks Mia is dead".

"I love her so much and she hated me for what I did. Only reason she didn't take Heather is because she isn't her child".

"Where is Mia anyway"? Jordan asked.

"I have no idea". I said

"Me either". Jessica said.

Heather hasn't been to school in a week. Just yesterday I saw on the news she was missing.

This is all my fault. I was sleeping with Brandi I knew I shouldn't have done that.

I love her so much I'm so stupid. I stopped messing with Brandi the same day Heather broke up with me.

I don't want Brandi I want Heather I love Heather she's my soul my heart. I need to find her.

Everyday I see Heathers picture on the news. I'm not worried because I know she's safe.

My granddaughter has been through so much. Losing the lady who she thought was her mom moving from place to place. Finding out her aunt is really her mom. And her boyfriend cheating on her.

"Grandma". Heather said coming through the back door.

"Sweetie hurry up and get in here". I said closing the blinds.

"Thanks for letting me sleep here".

"Of course dear your my grandbaby I will not let you be homeless".

She hugged me. "Thanks gma".

"I made you some roast and mash potatoes".

"I'm hungry". She said and walked in the kitchen

I followed her. "You need to get back in school sweetie".

"I can't that woman will be there and that boy will too".

I sighed. "Heather I know you are upset but it shouldn't affect your studies".

"Gma I can't do it".

"Heather sooner or later you will have to face them".

"Not now".
