Eleanor watched as Victor drank from a thief's neck. He was careful not to empty his blood before removing the memory of what happened from him.

They got to their new lair, an isolated place in the woods."What's the plan Victor?" Eleanor asked. "I won't go in as a guard. It's too shameful" he replied her. She laughed loudly "Yea shameful indeed" "I won't serve the people who murdered my parents"

"OK, so?"

"You told me they have an eldest daughter named Stephanie. I'll start from there" he replied her.
"But how?" Eleanor asked, curiosity written all over her face.

"She'll go mad over me, her father will disagree, I'll then tell her I don't want her again, she'll end up taking her own life. Then there'll be a great turmoil at court. That's where I come in" he replied giving her a smirk.

Stephanie tossed and turned in her bed. Sleep had eluded her. 'Something's not right' she thought. She sat up and turned on her bedside lantern.

She had seen Victor today but there was something off about the way he looked at her, he looked upset. He didn't even smile or wave at her. He just sat on the tree branch staring at her till he disappeared.

She took her coat from its hanger and climbed out the window into the woods.

After what seemed like hours, she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around but there was no one "who's there?!"

The footsteps were coming closer. She held her coat, fear creeping up her spine.

Suddenly the footsteps retreated and she heaved a sigh of relief. She collided with something hard. She quickly spun around and saw Victor staring at her.

"Victor!" She threw her hands round him "why did you take so long?" He squeezed her gently and rubbed her hair "I had some things to take care of".

They appeared in his lair and he laid her on his bed. He made to leave but she grabbed his cloak "stay with me".

He squeezed her hands gently and smiled "I have things to do. I'll be back before dawn". She freed herself from his grip and looked away "Go. I'll find my way home".

She heard him chuckle "Really?" "Yes". He sighed and came to sit beside her.

She ignored him even though she knew he could read her every thoughts. She wanted him.

He could feel the heat of her body as he drew near her "Is this what you want?"he asked as he kissed her gently on the lips, then down her neck. "Yes" she gasped "make me yours"

Jackie giggled as they watched Stephanie smiling in her sleep.

They had been there for over an hour but Stephanie hadn't woken up.

She finally opened her eyes as a maid rolled up the blinds. Her eyes met with Jackie's who was sitted beside her on the bed staring at her sister in amusement.

"You need to tell us about your dream" Jackie told her still giggling. She quickly sat up from the bed her eyes scanning the room she was in "I'm in my room"

"Where else would you be?" Jackie asked her.

She frowned and looked at the maids "Get out". They hurried out of the room leaving Jackie behind. "You too Jackie" "OK OK" Jackie replied and shut the door behind her, but not before she opened it again and furrowed her brows giving her sister a curious look. "What was you dreaming about?" "Jackie!" And the door slammed shut. Stephanie heard her footsteps departing. When she was sure no one was lurking around her door, She quickly raised the blanket to check for any stains of blood but there was nothing.

'He didn't touch me. How did I even get here?'

She suddenly felt like someone was watching her and she turned her gaze to the window. There was a strange black bird with red eyeballs staring at her.
