Victor stood behind a tree in the garden wrapping himself with the darkness of the night. He watched as the maids and guards decorated the place as though an event was coming up. The castle was also busy but he needed to see Stephanie so he could inform her about the ritual they needed to perform to save her from the dark side. He looked towards her window and saw that the lights were still on, she wasn't alone.

His eyes flashed when he spotted a maid carrying a bouquet of fresh flowers from the garden. She looked so elegant in her maids uniform. Her was tied in a pony tail. She looked fairer than the last time he saw her. 'Seraya'

Eleanor watched as he cut the meet into straight slices. He was indeed very handsome. They had met while she was fighting dark witches in the South. Their backs had collided and when she turned around to look at him, a witch almost attacked her from behind but he pulled her to himself and thrust his sword straight into the witch's heart.

He finished cutting the meat and placed the plate infront of Eleanor taking hers which she hadn't touched. "I was going to cut it" she protested but he smiled and shook his head. "I saw you trying and the meat almost flew of the plate". She covered her mouth in embarrassment. She had tried cutting hers before he came to join her at the table but pushed it aside as the meat almost flew  off the plate. 'So he was watching her. She had no idea'.

He took a piece meat and gave it to her to eat. She looked at the meat then at him and he raised an eyebrow making her snatch the meat from the fork. 'Victor was right, she had no manners as a lady'

They began eating and she stole glances at him at intervals but he caught her and she quickly returned to her food. He was a charmer. She wondered why he hadn't settled down.

She was always playing hard but when she was infront of him, she lost courage. 'Maybe it was because of the strange aura he carried around with him'. He had no scent and she wondered if he was a vampire or a wizard.

He cleared his throat bringing her back from her thoughts. His eyes were glued to her plate. That was when she noticed she had spilled food on herself. Her mouth was stained with sauce and a crack was on her plate. 'She must have used force in picking the meat with the fork and had resulted in the plate cracking.' She bit her lower lip and refused to look at the Prince as his eyes were still glued to the plate. She then felt his hand move to her lips with a serviette and he wiped it clean. "Thank you" she told him. "I...the..ink I'll leave now" she quickly turned around to make her move but he caught her wrist with an inhuman speed. "You are going no where".

Stephanie watched as her wedding dress was being brought in. It took four maids to carry it. They curtsied and left the room. She called the last maid that went out and she came back in. Stephanie told her to shut the door and she did.

"Is the Queen back?" She asked the maid whose name was Victoria. The maid shook her head. Stephanie quickly gave her a sample of the herbs the Queen usually prepared for her so she could go into the woods to get it. The Queen usually prepared it herself but with the wedding preparations, she hadn't come to see her that day. The herb was suppose to make the baby relax and not fall ill. She was feeling cold and was afraid it would affect the baby so she told the maid to prepare the concoction. "No one should see you making it. If anyone asks why you went into the woods tell them I asked you to get me a wild fruit OK?" The maid curtsied and left in a hurry.

The tower was so cold Joachim thought he was going to freeze to death. He was glad he had brought his cloak. He had come to give the dark master news about his wedding with Stephanie.

Samael watched as his guards made way for Joachim to enter his chambers. He lay on his bed reading a book barely able to hold it well. He had been expecting him sooner than this. Joachim was his follower just like the dark witches. The man was hungry for power and Samael had promised to fulfill his wishes if he agreed to marry his daughter Niniane who his wife had named Stephanie and sent in a basket to Queen Diana begging her to take care of the child.

Kasdeya was Stephanie's mother and his bride until he killed her in a fit of rage when he found out she had gone to hide their child with Diana. The witch was weak when it came to serious matters that needed to be dealt with.

He was going to make Joachim marry Stephanie so her powers could quickly manifest as they only did when she was around another dark witch.

He was growing weaker by the day and no one knew why. He needed to rule again so he could posses great power. He was going to kill Joachim once he married Stephanie. The only way he could rise as King was if he married his daughter and have a child through her. No other man was suppose to touch her. She was his and his alone.

Joachim bowed before his master. The man was looking tired. He was planning to kill him once he made him his second in command. Then he would rule in his stead. He chuckled to himself. "Master, I bring good and bad news"

"Speak"

"The good news is, I'll be getting married to your daughter tomorrow."

"And the bad news?"

"The Princess is pregnant and I have no idea who done it. I have vowed to kill whoever is responsible as she is supposed to bear my child first and not a bastard"

Samael almost flew off the bed "she's with child?!" Now he knew the reason his powers were reducing. 'A child by another man would only bring about his death' he groaned as he tried sitting up "Joachim you must do something about that child! It cannot be born! Kill it without hurting my Niniane!" He roared.

Joachim felt a smile playing at the corner of his lips. "With all pleasure master".
