The castle was bubbling with guests. It was Stephanie's birthday and the party had begun late in the evening.

Stephanie was clad in a black gown. Everyone gasped as she walked into the garden. Princes present were winking at her but they knew she was to get married to Joachim.

After the birthday song had been sung, music came on for the couples to dance so everyone picked their dance partners.

Joachim held her so tight by the waist and pulled her so close to himself. She hated him. Everyone who saw him had one good thing or the other to say about him. 'Tch, if only they knew the real him'. She noticed everyone had stopped dancing and were now watching her dance with Joachim.

"Kiss! Kiss!!" The crowd chorused. 'No way in hell' she said to herself. Joachim smiled cunningly and held her firmly by the waist before pulling her closer and planting a kiss on her lips.

"Seraya!" Victor called out as he searched the woods yet again for her. He hadn't seen her for days and had become worried. She never left the house without first informing him.

It was Stephanie's birthday and he knew she wouldn't be able to see him, so he decided to spend the rest of the night searching for Seraya.

Stephanie looked around her. The crowd had suddenly dissapeared. 'Where did they all go?' The castle too was gone. Only the forest was in front of her. She heard a growl behind her and ran into the forest.

She stopped under a big tree and caught her breath. It was really dark and the moon's light wasn't even enough.

Suddenly a great wind started to threaten. She stood up from where she had been sitting. A black bird came to rest on her shoulders. It screeched loudly and she brushed it off. Looking around, she saw wide eyes staring at her from different trees. The birds came to fly around her and she tried to run but couldn't move. She felt a strange energy fill her body and she raised her hands. Thunder rumbled and lightening struck. She heard herself chanting in a language she didn't even know. The birds took their positions around her and changed to figures clad in black garments. They all raised their hands and continued chanting with her.

The wind subsided and she felt weak. She dropped her hands and they all knelt before her and bowed. "We've waited long enough for you Princes, come to us, come to us, come to us!"

The voices kept echoing in her ears, she jumped out of bed panting heavily. 'It was only a Dream' she told herself repeatedly. She felt a cool breeze touch her skin and looked towards the window. Shutting it, she placed her hand on her forehead and noticed her hands were sticky. She looked at them 'Mud'. She quickly checked her feet. They were also covered in mud 'No way in hell! that was no ordinary dream'.

Joachim paced up and down his chambers staring at the girl on his bed. Days had gone by and she hadn't woken up. He had placed different spells on her but still she didn't wake. 'Why had he not left her in the woods to die'.

A maid came in with a tray in her hands. Shaking visibly at the sight of her master's uneasiness. He took the cup of blood on the tray and drank it.

An idea flashed though his mind and he smiled 'Blood'. That was what she needed. He grabbed the maid and pulled her towards the bed. She struggled with her master and he looked straight into her eyes, shutting her senses and making her vulnerable to him.

Making a clean cut on the maid's neck, he held the girls mouth open and the blood trickled into her mouth. Her eyes flung open and she grabbed the maid sinking her fangs into the maid's neck.

She had almost drained the maid of her blood when Joachim pulled her away "Easy easy". The maid fell to the floor and Joachim sealed the hold on her neck with a wave of his hand then he turned to the girl on the bed. Her eyes which were blood shot were now returning to their normal self.

She stared at him in confusion. "Who are you? What just happened to Me?!". He chuckled and came to sit beside her on the bed. "Welcome to your new world baby girl".
