We walked the next couple of blocks and got to the ice skating rink, sadly there was a long line waiting to get in. I told Robin that I needed to use the bathroom and that I'll be right back, I saw this schedule pertaining to when they have to refreeze a new sheet of ice and decided to pick it up. I went around back and saw a group of people unloading their supplies, a fight broke out on the other side of the alley so they went to stop it, I went inside the chest and saw a pistol. I saw a timer next to the garbage bins , I tested it out for one minute and it seemed like it worked, always mysterious to why people throw out items that still work fine. I taped the timer to the trigger tightly, but not to tight, just enough so that when it's triggered the gun will go off. I remember how it's Tuesday since I didn't want to accidentally kill any innocent children. I turned the timer just enough so that I'll react just in time when all the children are getting ready to skate again and there's no one on the field. I saw some pictures and knew where they were going to place the chest under the music stand, I also read online that Susan Carmichael was going to eat here, if I plan this right then they'll eat at the VIP table right across the rink to the music stand. It'll be perfect since the table is right near the kitchen and away from the front where everyone will be bothering people while they're eating. I also heard that she likes to eat at the best tables that restaurants offer, in my head this was an amazing plan. I cut a hole in the chest with the knife I always carry on me and placed a part of the gun through it, I then placed all the objects perfectly so that the timer wouldn't move side to side, this way when the timer goes off then it'll only go back and forth and will trigger the fire. I placed the chest back on the lever so they wouldn't notice the changes I did.
I went back to the front and saw Robin almost to the front of the line. The rink is pretty famous and it got its own restaurant across the rink. Robin was curious so she asked me a question.
          "What took you so long?"
          I responded, "Couldn't find a bathroom for a while.
"You could of just gone to the side of the building right?"
"I saw a van go back there and I didn't want to bother them."
"Wow, how do guys always brag how they can pee anywhere and you actually went all around the block to find a bathroom."
"Actually you're going to laugh, but I didn't find a bathroom."
"Lloyd I love you but you are really ridiculous, but you're right I really do want to laugh, you're so silly."
She laughed until we got to the front of the line where we got our skates and I ordered a table for two exactly at seven-forty. We got inside and was astonished by how big the place is, it was beautiful in my opinion, gold trim and black wallpaper, there was even chandeliers and candles. I saw the table where the music stand was being set up, right from my view I could see under the cloth and saw the chest there and it was set up perfectly. I then heard everyone yell and squeal when Susan came in, she even sat exactly at the table I planned for her to sit in, this was almost to perfect to be true. We decided to skate before we looked at the menu, Robin's not good at ice-skating, actually she's not good at any type of skating, so I had to help her. I held her hand as we went around the rink, I accidentally slipped and we ended up doing circles in place. We fell and we ended up kissing right there in the middle of the rink, most of the kids kept giggling and laughing at us but we didn't care. I picked her up and we started skating again, she was blushing as we went along the rink, but she was smiling though. Something about her smile really lights up my day, a smile strong enough to make anyone happy, especially me since I fell in love with that smile. I remember how I didn't use the bathroom and told Robin that it best for us to use it now since we needed to sit at our table in a couple of minutes. She agreed since she needed to use it too and we both got off the rink and walked in the skates. I used the bathroom, washed my hands, and waited for Robin to come out, nothing new as usual though. She got out after 5 mins as happy as ever and hugged me as we walked to our table. The ice was getting sheeted just in time and just as the schedule said it would. I walked Robin to our table and sat down myself waiting for the timer to go off. After we ordered our food I started to get anxious waiting and waiting, I told Robin I had to pee again and walked to the stairs. I made sure I avoided any cameras that could of caught me and I found myself on the floor above the rink. I used my knife to get three screws out, then I walked over to this little opening right above the music stand. I looked around and saw that no one was in sight and that the layer of ice was almost ready for people to skate on again. I dropped one of the screws hoping it would land on the laptop, it bounced off the laptop and landed in the half frozen water. I dropped another one, it landed right next to the laptop facing up towards the ceiling. I decided it's best not to waste the last screw and dropped it, it bounced off and landed up on the stairs just near one of the exits. I decided it was best to just go with what I got since to many screws would of looked suspicious to the investigators.
I went back to the table Robin and I were eating at and saw the food there, she already took a couple of bites waiting for me.
"You could of waited for me you know, I didn't take that long."
"I did wait, I only took 5 bites."
"It's ok, I took way longer then I even suspected, so I guess the food's good."
I sat down and we started eating, we had a conversation about how life's going to be different after university. It's fun, exciting, thrilling, yet scary to know that the goal ahead of us was just life itself. We both agreed that we should get married sometime not to soon and maybe start a family one day. The only think we still had to agree on was names, we both have very different taste. I kissed her on her forehead as we're about to finish our food.
I looked upon the skating rink from our table and saw many people going on the rink happy as ever, I started to hope that the screws would magically do their trick and finish the task. After a little I asked for the cheque while still holding Robin, still waiting for something eventful. Just as I saw the waiter coming I noticed something on the field as people were quickly going around the rink.
A woman around her late twenties was skating until she suddenly fell exactly where the nail froze in the water. People all around her started to to tumble as her fall triggered a domino effect. As people fell they all yell in agony, it all seem to been happening in slow motion to me. The DJ then looked up as he tried to put his hand down, he seemed to have misplaced his hand as he looked up. He screamed in agony as he pulled his hand up to reveal a screw jabbed in his palm. As he screamed and shrieked in pain his foot kicked the chest, the kick to the chest activated the broken timer which shot off at the general direction. The sound of the gun scared everyone, people started to head towards the exit in fear. The DJ then ran towards the exit down the stairs before everyone got there. He accidentally stepped on the screw falling right at the bottom of the stairs still alive, he was then trampled by everyone as they ran. I looked over at the table and saw Susan Carmichael shot in the head, face-planted in her food.
