We all walked out the hospital together, I told Robin and Eliana that Francisco forgot something at their place and that I was going to drive him there to get it. I asked them to go to the restaurant and attend our reservations. We talked it out a little and we all decided to actually meet around 8 at a new restaurant instead. Robin and Eliana went to spend most of the day with each other. After running some errands me and Francisco got in the car getting ready to leave. Francisco was confused and asked why we have to go back to his place. I sighed, "I'm going to the Kays and getting Robin an engagement ring, we're actually stopping by my house."  We drove around the side streets to avoid New York City traffic. We still hit some traffic on some streets. While we were waiting Francisco would open the box and pull out the ring. It was gold and had some Indian architecture type design. It was beautifully decorated with waves, swirls, and mini diamonds. The biggest diamond was of course in the middle of the ring. We got to my place and I quickly ran up the stairs. I went in my closet and reached for a box at the top shelf, even I had to really reach to get it. Francisco looked at me and said, "What if Robin saw the box and knew found out really early." I looked at him with a serious yet dumbfounded look, "You serious? Even I really have to try to reach the box I can only imagine how hard she'll have to try to even see it." We quickly drove to the store and I rushed through the process. Eventually after looking around I found a beautiful ring that was gold and decorated like a vine with leaves. There was a small diamond in each of the leaves. In the middle at the top of the ring was a black diamond. Something told me this was the perfect ring, and the ring that Robin will love. After I bought the ring I ran into the car to Francisco still looking at the ring. I started the car, "So what's wrong?" He was startled from the sound of the engine, "Wait what did you say?" I asked him again and he answered, "Nothing, nothing at all." I insisted he told me the truth and he sighed, "Just all of us growing up so fast, these are some really big moments for all of us and it's just happening so quick. By the end of the day all of us are going to by engaged, next thing you know we'll all be married, then we'll all have families." The light turned red and I smirked and looked at him, "Well don't want to bring your mood down, but we still have to finish your engagement I already got my yes." He smirked, "Shut up, you know she's going to say yes." I smirked back even bigger, "Yeah yeah I heard her today and what she asked you, putting you on the spot like that." We both looked towards the road as the light turned green. I started to go forward, "Look we are all growing up, and yes all that stuff will happen but, we'll all still be really close friends, I swear you and Eliana with the exact situation, you guys were made for each other." He asked, "What are you talking about?" I answered, "At the graduation party she was upset about all of us growing up being more responsible now, oh yeah I know I'm the designated dad or mom of the group but you guys really need to start helping yourselves, I can't be your therapist, especially since I'm becoming a father." Francisco relaxed, "Ok you're right as always." I got curious, "So when are you and Eliana getting ready for a child?" Francisco shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know most likely tonight." I chuckled, "I guess I'm not calling you guys tonight." My face changed from humorous to disgust, "I kind of wish I didn't ask you that question now." Francisco turned confused, "Why you say that?" My expression of disgust deepened even more, "Cause now I can't get the image out of my head!" Francisco hysterically laughed for almost the entire car ride until we got to the restaurant. It was this nice restaurant that stood by the Hudson River. They fished some of their own food at the river, and you can stand by the terrace over the river. We got in and sat down at our tables, for once we waited for Eliana and Robin. After a while we saw two girls walking, both in dresses, it was Robin and Eliana. Robin was wearing a black dress that ended a little below her knees. Eliana was wearing a red dress that dropped to the same length as Robin's, she also had got her hair a more fluffier look. We ordered and finished our dinner, we ordered dessert and I held Robin's hand, I led her to the terrace that was part of the restaurant. We placed our hands on the railing and started to watch the sunset. Just as the sun was a couple of minutes from going down. I started to speak, "Robin I've known you for many years, and never in any of those years I had any doubts in us. When I met you there was a voice in my head, and the first thing it said was "that's the one, the one you're going to spend the rest of your life with and the one you're always going to love." and the moment I heard it I knew it was true. I knew since the day we met that I never want to spend another day without you in it, that's why" I went down on one knee and pulled out a ring. She smiled, "You know we already did this right?" I responded, "I know but this it's being done the right way. When I was a little boy I never believed in the term soulmate, I never believed in it, until I met you. Robin, will you marry me?" Robin answered, "Of course you idiot!" I got up and we hugged, I then preceded and put the ring on her finger. We walked back to the table and I put my arm in front of Robin to stop her from going forward, "Wait a minute I think Francisco's about to do it." We watched and heard Francisco talking to Eliana.
"Eliana I knew you for a long time, we met in school and blossomed a relationship together. I don't know much but what I do know is there is no one in the world that I'll ever love more or as much. Besides that I know one more thing, and that is that I never want to live without you. That's why I'm asking you..." Me and Robin watched in excitement as Francisco got up and went on one knee. Eliana was shy from embarrassment but still overcome with happiness, she repeatedly kept saying to herself, "oh my god oh my god oh my god!" Francisco took out the box and asked Eliana, "Will you make me the happiest man in the world?" Eliana yelled out in joy, "Yes, yes yes!"she then preceded to hug Francisco and me and Robin started to walk towards the table. We all finished our desserts and Robin and I told them how we heard everything. We all talked about dates for the weddings. I said, "How about August 31st? It's around the end of Summer so most people should make it." Eliana and Francisco quickly agreed that they want their wedding to be July 31st. Me and Robin kept discussing about the topic and I said October 25th. She responded, "That's really close to my birthday so maybe it'll be a good day." I responded to her statement, "Yeah and it's October so it won't be too cold or too hot." Then I remembered, "Wait the baby though, you might not fit the dress." She agreed, "Ok, then how about August 3rd?" I agreed with the date and it was set, in about one month and a couple of days, I'm going to be someone's husband. We got ready to leave and we saw Eliana whisper something into Francisco's ear. Robin and I quickly read his expression, Robin then said to me, "So we're not calling them tonight right?" I quickly responded, "No we are not." Me and Robin got to the car and I started the engine. I saw Robin admiring her ring, and you can see the light shine on the gems. Looks like that chapter we mentioned was coming for our lives came earlier then we would ever thought. It's time to flip the page and start a new and exciting chapter for all our lives.
