"Can I what?" He smiled at her.
"Overpower me."
Chow Su paused, "You don't think I can?"
"No." She didn't think so, not with his skills. She shook her head than changed the subject, "I'm not taking the snake."
"What?" Chow Su felt like he was hit with a double whammy.
"Don't like snakes."
Chow Su laughed nervously, "Meaning you don't like me?"
Addor looked at him and tilted her head to the side. Somehow, Chow Su felt more like an unimposing little brother, or a maybe a pet. Addor reached up and patted his head. Even if he was a snake, it felt as if it didn't matter. "Don't care."
The gentle touch and cold words sent Chow Su's mind though a loop. He couldn't read this girl. Was this Fan Rei's main personality? Did she learn how to blush by watching or what?
Addor removed her hand. "I won. Prize?"
"You want a reward?"
Addor nodded.
"Sure," Chow Su shrugged, his smiling face returned to it's former glory. "As long as it's within my means." He had a diamond and Jade necklace she's been wanting to give her. Maybe she still liked jewelry and pretty things?
Addor pulled a strand of hair over her shoulder. "Cut." She'd noticed how Chow Su's hair was short and styled. His red hair fell just above his shoulders and his bangs fell gently around his face. Whoever had done his hair knew what they were doing.
"You want me to... Cut you hair?" He looked at her doubtfully.
Addor nodded, slightly upset he felt like he had to confirm.
"Are you sure? A woman's hair isn't meant to be cut it'll damage your hono-"
Addor grunted and pushed her hand of hair towards him.
Chow Su smiled, "Your wish... Is my command." He leaned took her hand and pressed the strands of hair gently to his lips.
In the crowd of onlookers Abel felt a tinge in his heart as he watched the two interacting. He touched his chest, confused by the feeling. He couldn't hear what they were saying but watching Chow Su laugh and a whole new side of the girl he was guiding he felt uncomfortable. He gulped as he recognized the emotion. He pushed it down deep, scared of what the idea might bring about. He put on a smile as a front and floated towards the new couple, ready to congratulate Addor on her stunning victory.
