Addor sighed impatiently than turned back around to follow the confused 'Shifu'. "I know."
Abel stared after her, "That doesn't scare you?" Seeing that she was getting further away he hurried to catch up with her, glad to be away from that stain, "It's pretty new! What do you think it's from? That much probably means a dead person! Look how much there is! This teacher is crazy! Even his home..." Abel's thoughts trailed off as he came face to face with the door into the yard.
The door was worse than the wall. It wasn't there, not fully. Old, rotted, and falling apart was just the beginning. A gaping hole covered in burn told a terrifying story. Abel couldn't help but shiver. He stared at it, sure now that Addor would turn back with him.
He had been wrong. He had been very wrong. In fact, the blood stain only reminded Addor of her past. The threat of danger almost made her feel... at home. Addor quickly followed 'shifu' as he ducked through the hole and into the small yard of the smaller and older home.
Able gulped. "She does know that... none of his students have returned... ...doesn't she?"
(I know, I know... The next one's better. I mean longer. The next part is longer but the chapter after that things start to finally pick up.)
