"Ulgh! We've been walking for ages!" Fan Rei whined as she floated behind Addor.
They'd long left their peers behind and gone ahead deep into the mountain. The foliage was thick here, plants of all kinds surrounded them. The trees were too big to get one's arms around. These had branches all up and down the trunk. The colors were the same as any other tree in her world, but the leaves seemed sparser compared the to the large branches sprouting from every angle from the tree. The branches mostly began far over her head, but sometimes they were low enough she could jump over them without trouble.
Addor's bare calves brushed against ferns, rocks, and the tree's leaves as she trudged on.
"Only... couple hour."
"'Only'? Two hours is a lot! Rather, isn't it more like twice that? Or three times? That's certainly what it feels like... I can't believe I'm stuck here with such a boring conversational partner! Why are we going so far away, anyways? How far are you planning to go? You know we only have one day, right? Are you going to spend the entire time walking? I thought you wanted to get herbs? Otherwise what was all that studying for?" She grabbed her face and thrashed around.
"Yes."
"That's All you've got to say? You don't even comment on being a boring person to talk to? Oh how I deeply regret dying! If I didn't die I would have someone to hold a conversation with!"
Addor's steps suddenly paused. She continued moving and explained properly this time, "we... needa' go farther cuz bitches be taken' our shit nearest that damn hell hole."
"Hell hole? It's not that bad, is it?"
Addor looked behind her at Fan Rei with a blank face. She cocked her head, "School is hell?"
Fan Rei face palmed. "Only for those who think of it like that! Do you think school is unending torture?"
Addor looked down and put a finger to her chin.
"You have to think that hard about it? Oh, that's it! It's over! I'm never getting a body! If you hate studying so much we will never learn how to get me back!"
