19 ~ Depature

Helloooo reader!!! In case you don't know, I felt bad for not posting so I wrote a 2000 word chapter as my apology!! I put a lot of effort into this and it is personally one of my favourite chapters! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it🙂🙂 (Sorry for any errors)

Minato POV
This is bad. It is way to early for Naruto to go on a mission outside of the village. Yea I know that Kakashi is going to be there but as a father all I can do is worry. Maybe I could send another person with them....Maybe Jiraiya...but he is to busy with the intelligence unit.

I guess I will just have to deal with it...

*In the Namikaze estate* (Kushina is out Shopping and Mito and Menma are on a mission with Ebisu)
Once Kakashi arrived, I sent Naruto into his room to pack and sent Kakashi into the lounge room.

"Kakashi...are you 100% sure that you know what to do if something happens with Naruto?" I asked. He looked at me with a confident face and nodded. Then he started to speak. "If anything happens, I will sort it out and send Pakkun with a note. I have your Kunai so you can teleport to me. So don't worry ok."

I nodded and Kakashi shushinned away to go pack. I then started to walk up the stairs to talk to Naruto.

Naruto POV
I opened my wardrobe to see one extra pair of clothes...that's it...I took it out and packed it in my bag. I also packed some kunai and shuriken.

I honestly don't think I'm ready for this mission. It's outside the village and the only one who will really know what to do if something happens is Kakashi-Sensei and he only just learnt.

I put my bag down and laid on my bed...not noticing the tears that started to roll down my face.

No ones POV (3rd Person)
As Minato walked into Narutos room, he saw Naruto laying on the bed crying...Minato walked over to the end of the bed and sat down. He sat Naruto up and pulled him into a hug.

Naruto looked up at Minato with tears still flowing out of his eyes. "Dad...I'm scared. What if something bad happens on the mission. You, Iruka, Pervy Sage and Granny won't be there to help."

Minato day Naruto in front of him and looked him in the eye. "Naruto, I am 100% sure that if anything happens Kakashi can help. Don't worry about it." Minato said. Minato handed Naruto one of his special Kunai. "Keep this kunai On you at all times. If anything does happen and I get a message from Pakkun, I will come to you immediately. You will be fine. Just have fun and stay safe."

Naruto grabbed the kunai and put it in his bag right away. He looked at his dad and launched into one more hug. He then walked to the bathroom, washed his face and put his bag on. Glancing at the clock, he realised he had 10 minutes to get to the gates. He ran down the stairs, said goodbye to his dad and they both parted ways, one heading to the Hokage office and the other to his first C-Rank mission.

~Time skip to the front gates~
~Naruto POV~
As I ran to the front gates, I saw Sakura and Sasuke sitting under a tree waiting for Kakashi- sensei and our client. I slowed my pace and went and sat with them. We sat in a circle for about 10 minutes talking about random stuff as we waited for them.

As we ran out of things to talk about, we heard a poof and saw Kakashi and some drunk stranger who I'm guessing is our client.

"SERIOUSLY WE HAVE TO ESCORT THIS DRUNK DUDE!?" Yelled Sakura. I quickly blocked my ears as they are really sensitive cause of the stupid fox that lives inside of me. She looked at me and apologised, not speaking another word.
