22 ~ Door 1 and Door 2

GUYS IM ALIVE!!
I'm so sorry for not updating I kinda forgot about this book for a lil bit but now I have remembered and I'm going to write this chapter. I've also been a little lost for ideas so if you have any suggestions don't be scared to comment! :) sorry again for the late update.

Naruto POV
As I sat in my mindscape, It turned pitch black. Suddenly I could see a little light in the distance. So I decided to chase after it.

Once arriving I noticed that there was 5 doors on a glowing white wall. This must be the fox's torture for today.

On top of the doors there was a sign that said "To leave this place you must face your past. Enter all the doors and see what awaits you. Then you will be able to leave."

So I did what I was told and entered the first door, just wanting to leave this place.

(Note: Throughout all of this it will be in Narutos POV and when I am talking in the memories and I say "I", most of the time "I" will refer to the past memory Naruto)

Door 1 Start
As I opened the door I could see my family. But not as we are now. It was in the times were we were all happy.

I felt a single tear roll down my face as I watched the scene in front of me.

It took place in my lounge room. All five of us were cuddled up on our little three seater couch. At this time we were around three so we made it work.

Dad was reading a book, Mum was playing with Mito and I was playing with Menma.

Suddenly, Mum stood up and walked into the middle of the room.

"Ok guys!" She said. "Today we are gonna go on a picnic in the park! How does that sound!"

All three of us kids jumped for joy as we ran up stairs and got ready to leave.

~Time Skip~
As we arrived at the park, Mum and dad set up the mat and placed down the food.

We all sat in a little circle and started to eat the delicious meal in the park. As we ate we talked laughed and played.

Then we went and played in the park.

Door 1 End

As I exited the first door I was a little shocked. I never even remembered that part of my life. It kind of shook me a little.

Now it's time to conquer the second door.

Door 2 Start
As soon as I entered, I could tell that this memory had a whole different vibe. I knew this memory. It is one of the worst times in my life.

It was a scene with me alone in the park. I was sitting on the swing with my hands covering my eyes. My chest was moving in and out as my sobs started to become noticeable.

I was crying.

I got off the swing and started frantically wiping my eyes.

"Why did they leave me." I said.

I left the park and started my journey home.

Once arriving, it was already dark. I knocked on the door and waited for it to open. But it never did.

So I sat down on the porch and curled into a ball, trying best to stay warm through my first ever night sleeping outside.

~Time Skip~

In the morning, I was awoken by the front door hitting me as it was opened. As my eyes adjusted to the light of day, I saw my father poke his head around the side of the door. He looked down at me and now had a frown on his face.

"What are you doing out here!" He yelled as he squeezed his way out the door. "Where were you for dinner and dessert and bedtime!"

I got up off the ground and stood in front of my father.

"I'm sorry. You left without me at the park and I didn't know how to get home. But when I did get home the door was locked and nobody would open it." I said innocently.

"That's not a good enough excuse!" My father yelled. "We would never leave without you! I'm sick of these lies!"

My father grabbed me by my collar and dragged me inside. He pulled me up the stairs and threw me into my room. Once I got up and balanced myself, he walked up to me and slapped me hard on my face.

"This better not happen again!" He said as he walked out the door before slamming it.

I jumped onto my bed and curled into a ball. I started to cry and eventually fell asleep.

Door 2 End

As I exited the door. I didn't know what could be in the others. The first two already explained a lot and were really bad. I don't want it to get worse.

And now, I walked into the third door.
