43: Friends

They all had their fair share of money when thy paid the bill at the restaurant and went to their final place. Though they didn't go to too many places, it was very enjoyable.

"And here's the final stop for the night" Jeongyeon grinned and looked at the neon lighted place. "You seriously had to take me a to a god damn bar on my first day?" Sana asked in a dumbfounded tone and look, nevertheless, they still said yes and went on. She sighed and followed them in the bar, which was very casual and not to riggy.

"I'll just have gin for now" Sana told the bartender and sat down on the stool. "We've got a table reserved on the second floor. We'll get a good view of the band that JYP hired to perform" said Jeongyeon who sat down beside Sana who seemed excited yet oddly surprised of the sudden bar night on the first day she comes back.

"Here you go miss" the bartender served Sana's drink and folloeed the rest of the friends upstairs. Chaeyoung and Dahyun were already sitting among the others, and stood up to give Sana a big tight hug. "This is such an awesome reunion" Nayeon said and they agreed. It was their very first reunion together as college kids. NaJeongMoSaJi in their last year in college, while MiDaChaeSo in their 2nd to third year in college already.

Sana left Korea 5 years ago and returned to Korea in her 4th year in college from Singapore.

"To Sana, coming back home, and being a whole family again!" Nayeon raised her shot glass up and so did the others then drank up. Sana followed up and the word 'whole' kept echoing in her mind.

"It's not whole without her..." She whispered to herself as she poured another shot. "Amma go down and see them boys up close" the usual Nayeon said carrying a glass of sparkling wine downstaors but Jeongyeon held her back. "No you're not." She said and pulled Nayeon down and made her sit in between so she won't stand up.

"So, is there anything that you've been hiding from us too when you left?" Chaeyoung asked bluntly, making Sana slightly choke on the gin she was drinking. She wiped her mouth and replied, "what do you mean? If that's joining a cult or doing drugs, no I'm not"

"Who the hell does that in Singapore" Momo asked and Sana understood what she meant. "No I mean, have you been dating, or doing some fun stuff while in college" Chaeyoung explained the question. Sana gulped at that second, remembering the weird stuff that has been going on. She didn't know if she should tell it to not make them worry, but if she didn't and something happens, it could be dangerous.

"EARTH TO SANA" Jihyo yelled with her already loud normal voice while snapping her fingers at the girl dozing off in her own world. "You okay?"

"Ugh yeah, I just remembered that I ahd to do something" she lied but they fell for it anyway. Her phone then turned on from the table and Mina and Jihyo, who where sitting beside her saw the message.

"You've been talking to Mingyu?" Jihyo asked out loud that made Dahyun choke on her Sprite in a glass. "Um... Yeah, why?" Sana asked innocently. She knew she was going to be bombarded with questions about this so she took another shot of vodka this time to prepare herself.

"Why are you talking to him?"

"We coincidentally met right after I went to the gym a few weeks back. He was there for Christmas"

"But why are you close?"

"Because we went out to talk and eat"

"And?"

"What do you mean and?"

"He texted you, 'Did you get home safely?' I'm a hundred percent sure there's something hidden under your mini-skirt up to your thong" Momo said while reading the text on the notification. Sana tried to reach for her phone but Momo ended up pulling her thumb to the home button, unlocking her phone. "hold her, I'm dighing in" Momo said and Jeongyeon stood up to keep Sana down

"So you are hiding something from us." Jihyo smirked while showing her chat with Mingyu. "Are you guys serious?" She said while tryung to break free from Jeongyeon but she was sittin on top of the girl while holding her arms down.

"Let's go out for dinner before you leave?, Sure- I'll meet you there" Momo read out loud.

"DON'T TELL US YOU'RE DATING MINGYU" Somi yelled and they were laughing at Sana who practically gave up. "I'm not dating him. He just loves to eat out all the time, what do you expect from the big guy?"

"Dating you duh" Nayeon answered and they all agreed. "We're not dating" Sana exclaimed but no one believed.

Momo opened the camera and took a groupie with Sana who was frowning and sent it to Mingyu as a reply.

Mengyuuu:
Wth is going on ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Sanapomu:
Annyeong Mingyu-ah -MoMo

Mengyuuu:
Annyeong sunbaenim.

Sanapomu:
R u still single?

Mengyuuu:

Yes, why?

Sanapomu:
Cus Sana isn't. Lol

Mengyuuu:

She's been in a relationship since she's left

Mengyuuu:

Sanapomu:
Don't feel sad. U can date Somi instead lmao

"YA UNNIE!" Somi yelled and tried to grab the phone then Momo ended up pressing the call button, and Mingyu immediately answering it.

"여보세요?"

"Hi Mingyu~" the whole group except Sana who was busy yelling at them to stop, greeted Mingyu"

"DO YOU LIKE SANA UNNIE?" Dahyun blurted out all of a sudden and they all tried to hold back their laugh.

"오.... Yeah, noona is nice." He answered and they cringed.

"ARE YOU STILL INTERESTED IN DATING SANA?" Momo asked and there was a long silent pause.

"Momo noona, I think that's a bit too fast ㅋㅋㅋㅋ"

"But if you were given the chance, will you?"

"ㅇ...."

They all went silent to wait for his response. Sana was becoming as tense as the others while waiting for his answer.

"Sure"

"JJINJA?"

"Yes"

"OKAY, NICE TALKING TO YOU GYU. WE'LL GO NOW. BYE"

"What, ok by-"

Momo hung up the phone before Mingyu could finish his words. Their faces were mixed of disappointed, curious and for some, overwhelmed for some reason. "You like him back?" Momo asked breaking the awkward silence and death glares shot at Sana.

"As a friend, not like that"

"Are you sure? Just be honest" Jihyo said.

"Come one guys. You think I'd go for somebody else? No..." Sana said in a sad tone.

"Thanks unnie for driving me home" Sana said as soon as they got inside Jihyo's car. Jihyo smiled and replied, "Hahaha, that's nothing Sana. By the way, go and visit your college before the break starts"

"Ah right, probably tomorrow or the other day"

"Ok good"

It was a long drive. They went to the club that was already in the other part of the city which took way too long, long enough for Momo to tell them to stop the car and buy some snacks during the ride. Sana rested her arm on the open window, and laid her head on her arm, closing her eyes slowly.

Her body then was shook, waking her up. "You're home" Jihyo said and Sana looked at the open house with the movers carrying their things inside. "Oh, thank you unnie. I'll get going" she saod and got off the car. She waved goodbye and Jihyo flashed a smile before heading off.
