30: Parting

Tzuyu held Sana's hand tightly as they ran deep in the woods. Sana couldn't see anything so she just followed wherever Tzuyu was going. After a long run, they finally stopped at a cliff.

"Tzuyu" Sana hugged the bloody girl gently, and soaked her clothes with her tears. Tzuyu caressed her soft blonde hair and pecked her at the crown of her head.

"Sana" Tzuyu called her, loosening the hug. "I love you so much, you know that right?"

Many gunshots were heard from afar, which made them worry about the others that they left behind.

Sana nodded at Tzuyu's words and held her hands tightly. "Then, you'll have to trust me okay love?"

The latter girl was nervous with what she was saying, but she just nodded.

Tzuyu smiled and answered, "Sana... Everyone will be safe okay? Trust me. So...

Leave now and never come back"

She kissed Sana passionately on the lips, letting Sana get a taste of her own blood. She pulled out from the kiss making Sana confused, and pushed her off the cliff.

Sana's body was being pulled down, and Tzuyu watched her fall. She wanted to look away but she couldn't, because Sana was looking up at her. The thick fog made Sana's body disappear, amd Tzuyu tried to hold a tear back but she couldn't, and let it all out.

"She's going to be fine. You know it Tzuyu" she said to herself and ran back to where the officers were.

"...THE FUCK" Jeongyeon cursed out after removing one of the men's mask. Then the man immediately punched her, but Jeongyeon dodged it. Tzuyu helped out, beating up the men, and they were getting fewer as she was helping.

"Tzuyu!" Jihyo yelled, grabbing Tzuyu's attention, "DUCK!"

So, she immediately duck down when a bullet went past her. She sprinted towards the gunman and twisted his head, making him unconscious, specifically dead already. She ran here and there, and piles of injured men and corpses were getting mixed up with one another.

But it seemed like more of them kept on coming, making it endless. The officers already lost enough stamina to slow them down, making it hars for them to fight back.

"Let's just run!" Tzuyu yelled and they ran ahead of her. She slowed the men down behind her, so that they won't be able to catch up with her friends, but there was so many of them that it was difficult.

Her eyes were heavy, and her body didn't seem to be broken, but just sore. She opened her eyes, to find herself lying at the back of a pick-up truck that wasn't so old and rusty. She carefully lifted her body up, making sure that she won't make the soreness worse than it already is.

"You okay?" Someone asked from behind, and it was a man's silhouette who was sitting in the driver's seat. "Y-yes, and who are you?"

A small chuckle was heard from him and he answered, "from the spot where you fell"

"Why am I here?"

"Because you're supposed to be safe. We're waiting for the others."

"Others?..." Sana questioned herself, and her friends and Tzuyu came into mind. "Where are they?"

"I don't know. But they're on their eay here"

The static of the radio got loud, and the man answered it. "Hello?"

"Whe-where are... You?"

"I'm waiting down here with Sana."

"Go-good...*static* we're near by. Ssshh~tart the engine. We're getting chased"

"Okay" he replied and put down the radio. The engine started, and they waited. "Who was that?" Sana asked. "Your friends"

"WERE HERE!" Jihyo yelled in the darkness, and their bodies were already becoming visible from afar. Not only theirs, but the men chasing them. As they got closer, they jumped and got in at the back of the truck. Sana hugged them, but something was wrong. They were all gloomy.

"What happened?" She asked, but they all didn't respond, still panting. "Guys..."

She looked around and she realized, "no..."

Jihyo went to her and hugged the girl, rubbing her back. "I'm sorry Sana. We didn't want her to, but she still did"

Sana's cries were only heard, and they were all left in dispair and frustration. Tzuyu, they couldn't belive what she just did.

"RUN!" Tzuyu yelled, boosting them up to make them run faster. Their legs were about to crumble down but they still forced them to run, though just by walking was already troublesome.

They ended up going to a dead end, but luckily the cliff of the dead end wasn't that high, so the boosted each other up. "Hurry!"

They pulled each other up the cliff, while Tzuyu was fighting the rest of them. Tzuyu felt that her body was heavy, getting tired from all this fighting and running, but she forced herself to fight, though she was already getting hurt.

"Tzuyu!" Mina yelled. Jeongyeon was stretching her arm down to Mina, but the girl refused. "Just go Mina!" Tzuyu yelled back while fighting off the men. Mina stood there, shaking her head. Even Jeongyeon was calling her name out loud but she was already deaf.

Tzuyu sighed and ran back to Mina and held her cheeks. "Mina, I want you and everyone to be safe. Especially Sana. I love all of you. Take care of each other, promise me that"

Mina nodded as her tears flowed down her cheeks. "Don't ever find me. It won't be safe okay?" Tzuyu wanted to cry but she knew that there wasn't enough time for that, so she immediately kissed Mina on the forehead and lifted her up to Jeongyeon. "Go now!"

Mina looked back and saw Tzuyu being cornered by the men, and disappeared behind the cliff.

"What now?" Nayeon asked. They were all in the main house, sitting quietly. No one bothered to speak so Nayeon did. "I don't know... She's gone, and her tracker chip broke, as Sohee said"

Sana couldn't stop crying, but it was a silent one. The problem was already bad enough to be stressed with, so she didn't want them to focus on her.

"We need to keep finding her" Jihyo suggested, while putting medications on Chanyeol, who was badly shot on the side of his stomach. "But..." Mina muttered softly, but Momo heard it.

"But what?" She asked, and everyone was looking at the quiet girl. She wasn't sure if they would listen but it was a promise to Tzuyu, "Tzuyu doesn't want us to find her, it's dangerous she said. She just wanted... For us to be safe, and take care of each other"

Sunmi rubbed her forehead and laid back on the couch, "she's too good of a kid"

"I wanna confirm if you guys have seen it too" Jeongyeon said, and everyone became silent. "Seen what?" Sunmi asked.

"If you recognized the three boys in school that we've been looking out for"

Sohee raised an eyebrow and replied, "You've been looking at boys?"

Nayeon couldn't help but chuckle at her sunbae's reply, and so did the others. "No! I mean, the officers and I have been watching out for these three guys in school that Tzuyu warned.

I think I saw Onew"

At that second, the officers were in the state of shock.

"We can find her then"

"But Tzuyu said not to" Mina retorted. "I promised that we'll all be safe."

"Why'd you promise that?"

"Because that's the only thing I could do for her at that situation. If you were in my shoes at that moment, you couldn't do anything else but listen to her"
