Lance

"Lance, wake up," I felt someone shaking me.

My eyes fluttered open. "Shiro?"

"Lance, you need to suit up now. We're under attack."

"What? Then why are you-"

"Shh..." he tried to quiet me. "Because they're already in the castle."

"What?" I whisper-shouted.

"They're already here, you need to get your armor and your bayard, stat."

"Got it. What about the others?" I asked softly.

"Keith is ready in his room, so are Pidge and Hunk, Allura is in the control room, suited up, and Coran is with her," he replied.

"Alright."

"Be quick, Lance. I don't know where they are, or if they're looking for you or Keith, maybe. You want me to go with you?"

"I think I'll be alright," I shook my head.

"If you say so," he sighed. "I'm gonna go check on Pidge, okay?"

"Okay," I nodded, and after he left, I did the same, heading to the armory.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't little ol' Blue," I heard a woman's voice.

Shit.

I quickly grabbed my bayard, readying it. "Show yourself."

A Galra woman with blue skin and eyes like Lotor's stepped out into the dim, blue light of the armory.

"Wow. Lotor wasn't wrong. You do have the prettiest eyes.." She stepped closer, and I pointed my gun at her. "Hey, now, no need for that. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm only following orders. The prince wants you alive, and I can see why."

"I'm not going back there," my eyes narrowed.

"But why? Lotor is so good to you, he just wants you to be safe, and his."

"I don't care. I know who I am, I'm a paladin of Voltron. I'm not leaving my friends, especially for that monster."

"They've brainwashed you into believing that, haven't they? They made you think that we're the bad guys. But we're not, Lance, trust me. We don't want to hurt anyone, except for your friends, but that's only because of all the bad things they've done! Come on, Blue, we want to take you home."

"I'm already home," I shook my head.

"You're not," she sighed. "I really didn't want to do this the hard way."

"Huh. Me neither," I got ready to shoot when the bayard was knocked out of my hands.

"Oh, Lance. If only you knew what could happen if you just behaved. Lotor could give you all you ever need. Just stop acting a brat and listen to him. He only wants the best for you," she shook her head.

"Lies," I spat. "He doesn't want that. He wants control over me. He wants my friends out of the way so that I have nothing to return to and want to stay with him! He wants to play his twisted mind games, and he wants me as a pawn. Well, that's not happening."

She sighed again, and I don't remember anything after that except for darkness.

Keith

I stood at my door, bayard readied, in a defensive stance. Just then, the door opened.

A hooded part-Galra breed stepped into the light, and before I knew it, my bayard was thrown across the room and I went unconscious.

That's never a good sign.
