Chapter 21- Promises, Home Sweet Home, Bed Rest

I was sitting in the car next to Mason. It was only me, Mason, and Cole and of course the driver. Zack had to go with Mitch because I'm not allowed to see Zack today. It is really hard but at least I know he's safe and I will be able to see him tomorrow.

I looked over at Cole, he looked sad. Well who wouldn't be sad if the girl you loved was a human and you're a hybrid, and that's not aloud, oh and to mention that me and him are meant to kill all humans. I really have no idea how we are going to get out of this.

Mason looked down at me and said "Caitlyn what's wrong?"

I looked over at Cole and he looked at me and he knew what I was going to do so he spoke "Caitlyn don't you promised."

"It's not like I'm telling the head alpha it's just Mason, the one I pick, my mate and you and I aren't going to be able to deal with these ourselves."

"But we should talk about it before you go telling everyone and it's not even your call on who finds out."

"But we can trust Mason."

"Really? I don't even know him; I grew up knowing that Zack was going to be the man you loved."

"But its Mason so you tell him or me."

"No Caitlyn, we need to talk about it before telling the world we have to make a plan then we can figure out who knows and doesn't know."

"Were not telling the world, it's just Mason"

"Yea then it will just be Zack, just mom and dad, just Mitch, just Mason's birth parents."

"Wow you call them Mason's birth parents there really my parents too."

"No there just the people that looked after you and obviously didn't do a good job."

And of course we were back to this. He looked over at Mason with such disgust.

"Cole!! Is this what it's all about?"

"Well were not telling someone my secret that I can't even trust with my own sister."

And Mason decided to come in the conversation.

"You can trust me with Caitlyn. I would never hurt her again."

"Exactly there shouldn't have to be an again in that sentence."

I was getting pissed off that everyone keeps bringing every conversation back to this so I yelled "COLE!! OK THERE IS AN AGAIN AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO FUCKING GET OVER IT NOBODYS PERFECT!!! AND EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES LOOK AT YOU YOU'RE FUCKING IN LOVE WITH A HUMAN."

Mason looked over at Cole in complete shock.

And Cole looked at me in complete anger and he managed to say "I knew I shouldn't have told you"

"I won't tell anyone else I promise but we need someone to help us and I think the only one that would help us with the situation is Mason"

"And why not Zack?"

"Cole you even said yourself you know Zack so if you know him you know that Zack will tell on you the first second he got."

"Fine but Mason do you promise you will help us."

"I promise as long as you promise to not bring up the past."

"I promise."

They did a little manly handshake and we pulled into my old house driveway. I looked over at Mason and he whispered "You ready sis"

"Ha-ha you can't call me that. It sounds too weird."

"It does. So you ready to see mom and dad."
