Chapter 12- Tears, Visits, Forgiveness

I opened my eyes. I realized how weak I was. I could barley move.

I remembered exactly what happened, Cole attacked me. I still don't get why he was so mad. Like yea I know I tortured his sister but he barley knows her. Maybe they have some weird sibling bond or something. You never know with hybrids.

But then I felt it, my mate was really upset and I didn't know why. All I wanted to do was go to her and comfort her. So I managed to get up and just ignore the pain.

When I got closer to the door I could hear my mate, Caitlyn crying.

At that moment I started walking faster and faster, Ignoring the pain.

As soon as I reached the living room I saw Caitlyn sitting on the couch in Coles arms crying and Zack next to her with his hand on her back, they both also looked like they had a few tears.

His eyes meet mine and she got out of Coles arms and came over to me and gave me a very gentle hug.

"Mason you really shouldn't be out of bed."

"Yea but I felt you upset, Caitlyn what happened?"

She started to cry even more with her head on my shoulder and I looked at Zack and Cole for some answers.

Zack stood up and said "The humans, went into our town, and killed, everyone."

Caitlyn started crying more and more.

Now I knew what the problem was. Her birth parents just died. I looked at Zack and Cole knowing that they should be more upset because they knew them longer but I think they were keeping their self together for Caitlyn.

I didn't know what to do decides just comforting Caitlyn.

KNOCK KNOCK!

Cole stood up and walked over to the door and opened it and screamed. "DAD!!! YOU'RE ALIVE"

Caitlyn let go of me and ran to the door and screamed "DAD!"

She ran into his arms and wasn't going to let go.

"Ha-ha I haven't been gone that long."

"No, Zack told me that you were d-dead."

"Well our town was under attack by humans but I'm strong and I can defeat them."

I saw Zack walking closer to him, Giving him a hug.

"But I saw you two on the ground."

"Don't worry, were ok."

Caitlyn looked at Tom and said "But where is Sue?"

"Well she's alive but very hurt. She's with the doctors."

I started to speak "then why are you here? If Caitlyn was hurt I would never be able to leave her side."

Caitlyn turned around and walked over to me and reached up and our lips meet and pulled apart and she said "you're so sweet."

But we were interrupted by Tom "I came here to let you all know that we are ok and yes it is really hard being away from Sue's side. So how about we all come?"

Tom started to walk out the door with Zack and Cole following him. Caitlyn took my hand and now we were both following them too.

We all wanted to get to Sue faster so Tom and Mason went into their wolf form and the rest of us used our vampire speed and we were there in a few minutes, Tom gave Mason some of his clothes and they got dressed in the woods.
