Chapter Seven

Rachel's POV

I grinned as I saw Calum and ashton fighting over which team would win.

I so desperately wanted to be on team calum.

"Oops! Sorry!" A dark haired girl exclaimed as she accidentally stepped on my foot.

"It's okay!" I replied, smiling.
"Hey, you don't look familiar. are you new here?"
"Uh.. yeah I'm Rachel Howin!"
"Oh hey Rachel! I'm Noelene- Noelene Bowrey. wait- don't you sit next to Calum Hood in Maths?"
"Oh yeah. All cos of miss coch's alphabetical scheme!"
"Ohmigosh you are SOOO LUCKY! Calum and his gang are SAHH CUTE!"
I smiled. "they're pretty hot, aren't they?"

Right that moment, calum started choosing his team members.

"Michael!"
I stared as a pink haired guy walked up to Calum and gave him a hi five.

It was Ashton's turn.
"Come on here, Luke!"
Luke, the cute blonde guy strolled up towards ashton and winked at a girl. Michelle, was it?

So the names kept going.
"Layne"
"Dylan"
"Rosey"
"Ryan"
Noelene eventually got called to team Ashton and waved bye to me.
"Rachel"
Wait did I just hear that clearly? Did someone just call me? it was calum! he was smiling that gorgeous smile of his. I looked down when I saw Layne glaring at me, but headed up to join the team.
The game started.
The boys all headed up front while the all the girl apart from Layne stayed bac.k

I looked over to Team Ashton and saw noelene giggling with a guy named Dylan Dauzat. she looked happy. I smiled.

"Oh hey!"
I turned around, to face a fair haired girl who was smilin.
"Oh sorry, I thought you were someone else!"
"Don't worry. I'm Rachel.
"Oh hey rachel, I'm Miranda. We have maths together."
"Oh yeah that's right! and history and french!"

We smiled at each other and continued with the game.

Fireworks exploded inside of me. thanks to a volleyball game, I had ended up on Team Calum, and made two new friends, Noelene and Mirada. that Michelle girl looked quite nice too.

The game ended.
7-4 to Team Ashton. Their team celebrated as we clapped them on the backs. I headed to the change rooms and saw Miranda and noelene.

"Hey guys!"
"Oh hey rachel! come here, I'll introduce you to everyone!"

I followed them, grinning widely I was currently walking on the pathway which lead to friendship!
