Chapter 13- Sam

I was running again. I don't know why. Maybe it was because I didn't want to cry in front of my brother. Maybe it was because everything was so overwhelming right now. Maybe it was because I couldn't handle seeing Cas like that. Just because he had hurt me didn't mean I wanted to see him like that.

I sprinted for the Impala this time. I had snagged the keys off of Dean earlier. As soon I reached the car I flung the door open and slid into the driver seat. I took in a deep shaky breath, trying to clam myself down.

This is all my fault. I knew Cas was kind of messed up, but I yelled at him anyway. In the few months we had know each other he had opened up a lot more and I should have known better than to yell.

Suddenly the passenger side door flung open and Gabe climbed inside he Impala. "Samsquatch you gotta stop running off, all this running back and forth is not good for me."

I smiled a little and turned to him. "Gabe is he going to be okay?"

"Cassie, oh yeah, he'll wake up and then we can all live happily ever after!" He forced a smile.

"Gabe, am I way overreacting?" I bit the inside of my cheek, looking down at my hands.

He lifted my chin with two of his fingers until I was staring directly into his eyes. "Yes," he smiled at me, "but don't worry I forgive you."

The corners of my lips turned upwards. My eyes flicked down. God, his lips looked so sweet. The whole time Cas and I were dating we never kissed. It just never felt right. When my eyes made their way back up to Gabe's face, he was staring right into my eyes. His eyes were darker brown around the outside by faded to a beautiful golden color in the center. They took my breath away.

We both sat there for awhile, just staring. Then Gabriel broke the tension. "Screw it." Then he closed the space between us, slamming his lips onto mine. Our lips locked and his hands ended up in my already messy hair. My handed landed on his back, pulling him closer.

Finally we both separated for air, smiling like idiots.

"I, we should um probably check on um my uh... brother" he stumbled over his words still dazed.

"Right. Yeah, um Cas..." apparently I was still pretty out of it too.

We both climbed out of the Impala and made our way back into Gabe's apartment. Somehow we made it past his crazy family and back to the bedroom.

Flinging the door open we were met with Dan and Cas not even an inch apart, lips so close to touching.

"Oh, okay then..." Gabe said turning away, "didn't mean to interrupt...that." He turned to me and grabbed my arm. "We should go, give them some uh privacy."

I laughed some and turned to Dean, "Don't forget to use protection."

Gabe and I broke out in giggles as Dean and Cas turned bright red. Then we left them alone.

We were still laughing when we reentered the living room. Within seconds his entire family was crowded around us.

They began asking questions but I couldn't make out a single one because they were all talking over each other. Gabe put his hands up, cutting them all off.

"Okay one at a time." He said and thy all raised their hands. Did this happened often in the Novak house? "Balth you first because it's your birthday too."

"Just to clarify, Sam is your soulmate and not Castiel's right," Gabe nodded and Balthazar continued. "That means the short Winchester is Cas's soulmate." He paused and Gabe nodded again. "So you and Cas's soulmates are brothers too?"

"Yup, we all caught up now?" Gabe seemed annoyed that they didn't understand.

"Isn't Cas like pissed with you man?" Lucifer said from the back.

That was when Cas and Dean appeared, both with messy hair. "No I'm good." Cas said with a smirk. Dean had his arm around Cas's shoulders and Cas had his arm around Dean's waist. They were holding each other so much closer than Cas and I had ever been.

I felt like I should be jealous but I was happy now too. Finally all four of us were happy.

Okay so nobody get mad at me. Everything got kind of crazy. Exams, and the holidays had me really busy so I haven't had time to write another chapter. So this is pretty short but I'm writing up the next chapter right now so hopefully it will be up in a little bit. Thanks for understanding😘
