Once I finally heard Sam and Gabriel leave and I exited the bathroom. I had put on a nice pair of blue skinny jeans and a white dress shirt with a blue tie. I threw my trench coat on and flopped down on my bed.

Dean said he would pick me up at two and it was only ten. I let out a sigh and laid back in my bed. I shut my eyes. Maybe I could sleep for a little while before he came over.

Then I heard a ding from across the room.

I sprung off my bed and sprinted across the room. That was my phone. It could be Dean. Upon reaching my phone I found two messages. The first one was from Gabriel who wanted me to remember to use protection.

The second one got my heart fluttering. It was from Dean and read:

Hey, can I please come over earlier. I know I said two but I can't wait that long to see you again.

I quickly told him he could come over now. I couldn't wait to see him either.

He arrived at the dorms only ten minutes later. He must have gotten up early too. As soon as I opened the door Dean stepped inside and wrapped his arms around my upper body, pulling me closer to him. Usually a motion like this would freak me out. Cause me to panic. But it was Dean. His hug felt natural, it relaxed me instead. My arms landed around his waist and squeezed him.

I leaned into him and inhaled a mix of leather and pine. We stood there for over a minute before either of us attempted to move away.

Dean's arms slipped off me and mine fell slowly from his waist. He looked down at me with his bright green eyes. His lips formed a small smile and I saw his eyes crinkle slightly.

"Hey angel," he finally said.

"Hey Winchester." I laughed and stood on my tip toes. This was it, we were finally going to kiss. Both of our eyes closed slowly. I felt his breath ghosting over my face.

BANG! The dorm room door slammed open. Some kid burst inside looking around frantically. He was pretty short and had short dark hair that sat in a mess on his head. "Where's Sam!" His voice was higher than I thought it'd be.

"He left with his boyfriend, who are you?" Dean's grip on me tightened slightly, he seemed upset and disappointed.

The kid saw Dean angry eyes and took a step back, "I'm um Kevin Tran. Sam and I are uh in some of the same classes. I was just... never mind."

He backed out slowly seeing Sam was nowhere. The door shut again. He turned back to me and his grip loosened and a smile lit up his features. He leaned in close to me again, but ducked away from my lips at the last second and whispered into my ear, "We have to go now." His lips grazed my ear and I shivered.

"O-okay." I took a step back and grabbed my phone off the counter. Dean took my hand in his and gave it a light squeeze.

We made it out of the dorms a few minutes later. As we made it to the Impala he dropped my hand and took bigger steps so he could open my door before I had the chance to. He made sure I was safely inside before he lightly shut the door and sprinted around to the drivers side door.

He slipped inside and grabbed my hand again like it was painful for him to not be touching me. I have to admit I even felt lost without his touch.

He flashed me a smile full of mischief. "Dean, where are we going?" I was almost worried by his grin.

He leaned in, our lips once again almost locked, but moved up and kissed the tip of my nose before pulling away and saying, "Now that, is none of your business Angel." He smiled again and started the car.

I laughed at his childish behavior.

Two hours later we were still driving. I was restless now, Dean refused to tell me where we were going and he wouldn't pull over for a bathroom break.

I must have drifted off after that because I woke up to Dean's hand on my shoulder gently shaking me. "Babe, we're here."

I rubbed my eyes. "How long did you drive for?"

"I don't know, like five more hours." That got my attention. I looked around but all I saw were trees and a gravel road behind us. It was starting to get dark now.

I know Dean would never hurt me, but at that moment my brain went crazy with possibilities.

Dean doesn't like you. He nothing but a stranger. You've hardly known him for a week. He's going to kill you. Or beat you like your parents. He doesn't care about you.

I sucked in a breath and my eyes began to water. I felt my chest tighten and my heart begin to race. I fumbled until my hand found the door handle and I pushed it open. I leaned over and rolled out of the car.

Tears now spilled freely and I couldn't hear anything over my gasping breaths and furiously beating heart.

I thought I heard Dean call out my name. His voice snapped me partially back to reality. He was coming towards me his hands outstretched.

"No- no stop." He did what I told him to immediately. I could barely make out his face through my watering eyes but I could see concern.

He moved to come closer. "I said stop!" I wouldn't let him hurt me too. But he wouldn't hurt me, would he?

"Cas, hey it me okay." He reached out again, his hands stopping short of my shoulders. "You're okay, please just let me help."

"No," his hands met my shoulders. "Please don't hurt me." I was sobbing now. Tears of fear pouring down my face.

I heard him sigh and he wrapped his arms around my body. He picked me up and pulled me towards him more before squeezing me tighter. "I would never," he paused and kissed the top of my head, "ever hurt you." I relaxed slightly.

He held me tight until I calmed down. A weight felt like it had been lifted right off my chest, and my heart began beating at a more normal pace. "Dean, um what- what are we uh doing here."

"Shoot," by his tone I assume he realized what thoughts had flooded my head about being brought out into the middle of nowhere by an almost stranger as it was getting dark outside. "This is my place. I mean kind of, it's just this clearing I found. I used to come here all the time when Sam and I lived here and I thought I could show it to you." He was rambling now.

I laughed quietly, "you're cute when you get flustered."

He smiled at my happier attitude then frowned, "I'm not cute." Now it was my turn to frown. "I'm fucking adorable!" He exclaimed.

We both burst out laughing and helped each other stand up.

He grasped my hand and brought me closer. "I could never hurt you. Ever. No matter what anybody tells you Castiel. I could never bring myself to because...I love you."

He kissed my temple with his rough lips and pulled back slowly. His finger laced with mine then we set off into the woods.
