Six years later...
It was a Saturday morning. Sam and Gabriel had woken up early and Sam put together a breakfast of omelets and sugary cereal for Gabe. In the beginning of their marriage Sam had tried to force Gabe to eat better, but it didn't work out too well.
They ate together while holding hands across the table. Then they showered and got dressed in their nicest clothes. Sam wore a black suit with a green tie while Gabe wore a black suit with a navy tie.
They set out a few minutes later, making sure thy had everything, they were supposed to bring. The drive was short and they arrived around seven in the morning. They were the first ones there and immediately began setting up.
White chairs were lined up with an isle through the center. Blue and green tulle was tangled together between the chairs and the isle was laid with stone. The trees were blooming with beautiful flowers and bright green leaves.
Sam and Gabe sighed nostalgically, remembering their big day. They went inside a medium sized rustic barn. The paint was chipping on the outside but the inside was bright and clean. The wooden floors were polished and twelve round tables were scattered around. A rectangular table sat in the front with only two seats, both labeled 'Mr.' In the center of the barn was a wide open space with tile flooring.
Sam and Gabe got to work laying out name cards on all twelve tables and setting out table decorations. They did light and sound checks before finally making their way back outside.
Two black cars were pulling into the venue as they exited he barn. Sam opened the door for his brother who was decked out in a white tux with a green bow tie to match his green eyes. Sam and Dean rushed off to one of the small tents located toward the back of the field. Gabe opened the door for Cas who was wearing a navy tux with a navy blue bow tie to compliment his eyes. Thy went to the second small tent.
An hour later guests began arriving. Cas and Dean had wanted a small wedding so only family and close friends were invited. Guests filled up the white chairs and soon Dean was taking his place at the alter. They had agreed that Cas would walk down the isle with Chuck at his side.
Dean looked up from his hands, where he was nervously playing with his fingers, as the music started. Cas and Chuck began their slow walk towards Dean. Next to Dean was Sam who was of course his best man. Gabe was Cas's just like at Sam and Gabe's wedding.
Finally Cas and Chuck parted and Dean took Cas's hands in his own. Short vows were said quickly neither groom wanting to wait any longer. They had said vows in private the night before. Finally the priest spoke the words everybody was waiting for, "You may now kiss the groom."
Dean and Cas pressed together and melted into their first kiss as husband and husband.
Later inside the barn guests were seated and dinner was being served. Chuck and his girlfriend Becky were seated at the first table with Bobby and Ellen who were basically Dean's parents.
At the next table was Lucifer and Micheal who had gotten married four years ago, Balthazar who had decried to stay solo and get a dog instead of a wife, and Samandriel who had found himself a nice boy named Adam. They weren't old enough to know if they were soulmates yet, but we all assumed.
At the third table sat the Winchester's cousins Jo and Ash, along with Charlie and her soulmate Dorothy. Jo sat alone, but Ash sat a little too close to his newest girlfriend Ashley.
Assorted family member and friends filled the next eight tables. Leaving one table in the back for Raphael and Hannah and their soulmates and Gadreel and Uriel. They didn't really support Cas and Dean as much as the others so Cas made the decision to seat them in the back. He wasn't going to let them ruin this for him.
The night was perfect. People drank and sang and danced. The room was buzzing as people laughed and had fun. It was only after cake and at least thirty more songs that guests began to slowly file out the barn doors. Soon only Cas and Dean remained.
Dean grabbed Cas's hand as soon as they were the only ones left and led him towards the dance floor. He pushed a CD into a small radio. He rejoined with his husband, wrapping his arms around Cas's waist and pulling him close. Cas's armed restes on Dean's shoulders while his fingers lazily combed through his husbands hair.
They swayed as Elvis played through the speakers. "This should be our song." Cas said it barely above a whisper.
Dean smiled back to him and swallowed his joyful tears. He nodded his head not trusting his voice. They leaned his slowly before their lips connected once again.
I can't help falling in love with you.
So the ending was happy but it made me cry because I couldn't help but reference Twist and Shout. I just reread it and I'm very emotionally unstable so no judgement because we have all been there. Anyway I know I told I would update this like literally forever ago and I'm sorry. Anyway, this was he end I hope you at least semi-enjoyed this. So like, comment, cry, you know the usual.
