I wake up who knows how much later. Barry was no longer gagged and neither was I.
"Hello, beautiful." He says. His face is inches from mine.
"Are you going to take off that dumb looking mask and face us like a real man?!" Barry exclaims.
He hits Barry.
"Hey! Leave Barry out of this. This is between us." I say.
He turns to me slowly.
"Okay." Is all he says.
I laugh.
"So, you're wearing a mask still." I say changing the topic.
He nods.
"Why?" I ask.
"What do you mean why?" He asks.
"I know who you are. There's no need to hide anymore." I reply.
He laughs. "Oh you think you're smart don't you?" He asks.
"Anyone could figure it out." I reply.
"Oh really?" He asks.
I nod.
"The Dead Killer is Jimmy Rivers." I say.
"The Dead Killer?" He asks.
I nod.
"I thought you were dead, Jimmy. That makes you a dead killer." I say.
"That statement is a bit contradictory don't you think?" He asks.
I shrug. "It works." I reply.
He sits there in silence for a while.
"So what are you going to do with me since I know who you are?" I ask.
"You're obviously not going to live." Jimmy replies shortly.
I laugh roughly. "So you're going to kill me and Barry? Barry didn't even do anything." I say.
"You thought I was dead, and you moved onto him. That is plenty reason to kill you both." He reasons.
"Hardly!!" I exclaim.
His eyes widen.
"You've always been so stubborn, Sophia. You're picking a fight with the man who holds your dear life in his hands." Jimmy says.
"I'd like to see you kill me." I reply boldly.
He laughs. "Don't try me, Princess. I could just kill your precious, weak little boyfriend and then set you free."
"So I could go to the police and get you arrested for murder??" I ask raising an eyebrow.
"It'd be worth it, cupcake. I'd love to see you all miserable." He says.
"I loved you. I can't help that I moved on because I thought you were dead. We were only dating, Jimmy. It isn't like we were married." I reply.
In that moment, I know that I said the wrong thing. I know that I went too far. I know that I'll pay for what I said.
Something flickers in his eyes. Now I see anger, and hurt, and a pinch of jealousy.
What happens next takes me by surprise.
