Chapter Six

It happens quickly. I was barely ready for it.
Jimmy comes at me, and holds a knife to my throat.
I don't even flinch.
Barry looks extremely panicked, but I can't really do anything.
Jimmy holds the knife there for what feels like an eternity.
I am just sitting there defenseless, looking him straight in the eye.
Jimmy looks at me, I look at Jimmy, Barry looks at me.
Nothing falters in Jimmy's eyes. It's as if he feels nothing at all about this current situation.
Well here's some news for you, Jimmy. I don't feel anything either.
Yes, Jimmy can kill me right now. He can do it in this exact moment and I will not care. Barry will be beyond outraged, but as for me, I will die knowing that this fate was not deserved. That is good enough for me.
I sit there thinking about whether or not Jimmy would feel any regret for killing me, or if he will feel anything at all.
I know what Barry would say.
That psychopath will not even think about you when you're dead. If he kills you, he will have no regret. Your death may not even do anything to his conscience. Your death may not even be enough for him anymore.
If my death isn't enough for him, then what is?
If my death is no longer enough for him then what is enough for him now?
Jimmy comes over and takes Barry.
He forces Barry to stand and he takes him into another room.
"What are you doing, Jimmy?" I asked boldly.
Jimmy doesn't even turn to me. Barry doesn't even give me as much as a second glance. This could be my last time to see him again, and he doesn't even do as much as glance at me.
-------------The Dream-----------------------
After a while, Jimmy walks in.
"You're free to go, Sophia." Jimmy says.
"What?" I ask.
"I said you are free to go." Jimmy repeats and smiles.
"W-- what's the catch?" I ask stuttering.
"No catch." He replies simply.
I give him a confused look.
"Why the sudden change of heart?" I ask curiously.
"Barry is dead. You are free to go." He says and walks out.
"No." I reply shortly.
"No?" He asks.
"He isn't dead." I reply.
"Yes he is, Sophia. I killed him." Jimmy says.
I have nothing else to say.
"Bye, Sophia." Jimmy says.
Before I can respond, Jimmy fades away to the unknown.
-------------------------------------------------------
I awake with a jolt, and Jimmy is staring at me.
He raises an eyebrow curiously and I simply give him an agitated look.
We sit there in silence. That seems to be how Jimmy handles things. Maybe he is planning and processing.
Or maybe he doesn't know what to say.
After a moment, Jimmy smiles.
Then he covers my mouth with duct tape, and pulls out a Polaroid camera.
"Say cheese." He says.
How ironic.

A/N: yes this chapter is short but I wanted to double update really bad today in case I can't update daily tomorrow. School is stressful so there's no guarantee I will update daily. Thanks for reading my story. I know this chapter was short but I tried to still make it interesting.
