The Dead Killer

Chapter Five

It happens slowly. It always starts out like that doesn't it? You feel your life slowly slipping out of your grasp.
It's like falling in love. It happens slowly and then all at once. It feels like that when you're dying too.
All I remember is closing my eyes and waiting for my death.
After what feels like an eternity, I slowly opened my eyes with fear. Jimmy was only staring at me. Barry was too. What's going on?
Jimmy laughs.
"What were you doing? Praying to the Gods that I would spare you and your precious boyfriend's lives?!?!" Jimmy exclaims.
I laugh bitterly. "Of course not."
"Then what were you doing?" He asks.
"Waiting for you to kill me already." I reply.
Barry makes a surprised noise and Jimmy just looks at me in awe.
I wait a moment longer.
"So?" I say after a while.
"You want me to kill you?" Jimmy asks.
I nod.
Barry gives me a look that's saying 'what the heck are you doing, Sophia?!' but I ignore it.
Whatever I'm doing, I'm doing for him. Besides, I know what I'm doing. Even if Barry doesn't think so.
You'll see, Jimmy. You're not going to win this fight.
Jimmy nods. And then he comes towards me. He stops in front of me and looks at me for a minute. Next he walks behind me.
What's happening???
He cuts my hands free, and then walks to face me again.
I don't say a word, and neither does he. Barry is only watching us.
Its dead silent, and nobody is doing anything, not even breathing.
Then Jimmy is the first to move.

A/N: another cliffhanger to end chapter five😁😁😁 I love doing this. Suspense, yay...
