The most important day is the day this plan goes down.
That day is coming soon.
Grayson comes over the next morning with breakfast.
"Thanks, babe." I say.
He kisses my forehead and shrugs. "You're welcome but it was nothing. I knew you weren't going to eat." He says.
"And how would you know that?" I ask.
"I know you." He replies simply.
I smile, "I guess you do."
"So eat. Please." He says adding the please a moment later so it seems nicer.
"Okay." I reply as I am grabbing some food.
"Thank you." He says.
"You're welcome? Anyway um do you think today is the day?" I ask.
He shrugs. "We aren't doing this for me. It's up to you, princess. " he says.
"But you're my help. You're ideas are equally invested into this." I reply.
"That doesn't give me the right to decide one of the most important details." Grayson states, pulling me into a hug.
"Whatever." I reply.
"Hey, you can't be mad at me." He says.
"Oh, and why not?" I ask.
"Because. Nobody stays mad at me." He replies.
"Looks like I will be the first." I say challengingly.
"Right. I can't wait to see that happen!" He exclaims sarcastically.
"Shut up." I reply.
"Hey, Sophia.. I was thinking----" Grayson starts.
He is interrupted by the news, excitedly talking about something.
I walk to the couch and sit.
"Another murder went down last night at the Quick-Mart located in the center of town." One of the newscasters says.
"It seems Jimmy Rivers is going around killing, and he refuses to stop. He cannot be contained by police officers either it appears. He is yet to be caught and taken in my the PD, but they are still trying." The other newscaster says.
"He nearly was caught in his charade last night, and we only seemed to have gotten Jimmy on video looking into the camera, talking to them, to us as citizens, to anyone who will listen." The first newscaster says.
Then they show the tape.
Jimmy is dodging the cops, with a knife in his hand, flailing it around aimlessly.
Jimmy looks extremely angry, and he occasionally screams.
Then they cut the video.
"This man is crazy. If anyone sees him, please call the police and give them a time and  location. The police are trying their best to bring this man in." And that's all for the news report.
Eventually I take my eyes away from the screen. Grayson is turned to face me, examiming my face for some sort of reaction.
He doesn't receive one, which then brings him to ask.
"Are you okay?" He asks.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's just..." I start as I reach for the remote. I turn the tv off.
"That's better." I say as I set the remote back on the table.
Grayson smiles, "So are you sure you want to do the plan?" He asks.
I nod. "You don't have to help me if you don't want to, Grayson."
"But I want to." He replies.
"Are you sure? Because once we do this, and you're there with me, there's no going back." I tell him.
He nods understandingly. "And I will still be there with you, by your side, doing what we both know is right." He says.
"Thank you. I just wanted to make sure you still wanted to do this." I tell him.
"Of course I do, as long as you want to." He replies.
"I do." I say.
"Good." He replies.
"Let's do this." We both say in unison.

You know, it's actually really creepy that Jimmy's "headquarters" are located in an old abandoned building. The building looks as if it will collapse any moment now, which is so unsafe but pardon me for saying this but I hope it does collapse. This building is literally in the middle of nowhere. No neighbors for miles.
"This is so creepy." Grayson whispers.
I nod. "Let's hurry. This place gives me the creeps." I reply.
He nods. "Hey, this is very random and totally not the time, but what's your favorite dog breed?" He asks as we approach.
"Siberian Husky. I've always wanted one. Come on." I motion.
He nods.
We go in the building to find Jimmy on the floor of a room crouching in front of a large piece of paper.
"This will never work!" He yells.
I jump and Grayson places a hand on my mouth to keep me from screaming.
I calm myself, and mouth an apology to Grayson.
Then Jimmy gets quiet.
Grayson strains to hear something, anything, to know what Jimmy is doing.
"Is he outside the door?" I mouth to Grayson.
He shrugs. He doesn't know.
Grayson grabs me and pushes me behind him.
He slowly opens the door a little, barely enough to see.
Then Jimmy's eye appears in view.
I cover my own mouth this time to contain a scream.
Grayson swings the door open as hard as he can and it hits the wall forcefully and it takes Jimmy with it.
With Jimmy unconscious, a squeal escapes me in excitement.
"The plan! We didn't even have to beat him senseless. He's out cold, babe!" I exclaim quietly.
His eyes light up as that part of the plan returns to memory.
"Right! Okay." He says scanning the room.
"Look! There's a metal bed in the corner." He says a moment later.
"Great! But.." I start.
"What?" He asks.
"The plan is to chain him. We don't have chains." I reply.
He smiles and removes 2 sets of handcuffs from his pocket.
"How did you---" I start.
He silences me as he places Jimmy on the bed and handcuffs him to it.
"Okay, I can do the rest." I tell him.
He turns to me and raises an eyebrow.
I nod.
"Okay." He replies.
"Wait for me outside." I tell him.
"Sophia---" he starts.
"I'll make it. Go!" I exclaim.
He nods, then he pulls me into a hug and kisses my forehead once more.
"Go." I say a final time.
He turns and runs out. I walk to the window to see him running. Then he stops and turns to face the house. He looks up to where I am at the window. I give him a thumbs up and he returns it.
Then I start.
I hang a sign across the ceiling.
This is for Barry. It reads.
The house begins to go up in flames. I sprint out.
I run straight to Grayson safely.
We turn just in time to see flames.
I turn to Grayson and smile.
Then we leave.

A/N: so they got revenge yay!! Jimmy died too so that's good. I mean he was burned alive so that was pretty brutal but hey. Why not.
