Again, I won't be able to reach my phone tomorrow so here you go.
Minor time skip. Usopp and Merry join the Straw Hat Family.
Silence was painful. As was boredom. Being a mature woman felt pretty hard on you. Everyone on the crew except for your boyfriend was younger than you. Usopp and Luffy were childish seventeen year olds. Nami was eighteen and not exactly the easiest soul to have a conversation with. The ship now felt too big for how little she held. Only a five person crew...
What could you really do? Nothing. So you lied back against the mast of the Merry. Nearly dozing off while your eyelids grew heavy. Watching the blue sky roll right on by. Fingers entangled in Zoro's soft yet messy strands of grassy green hair. Snoring softly with his head rested in your lap. You adored the small moments such as this. No words were needed. All you needed was the other person and you felt complete as one.
BOOM!
Zoro cracked open an eye to Luffy dancing around clapping happily. Cheering Usopp on as he held a small stick. Embering red like hot burning hot coals blazing in a fireplace. A cannon smoking from it's muzzle, a large rock towering over the sea falling apart piece by piece. Splashing with large uproars as they sunk one by one.
"Mind explaining why you're shooting rocks? Cannonballs aren't cheap," you found it honestly ridiculous to be shooting random things out on the sea. Cannonballs were meant for protection against other attacking ships. Not destruction of wildlife.
"Target practice!" Luffy yelled in an ear splintering shout. Disappointed as to why you had asked such a question.
"Clearly you don't need any practice if you managed to destroy that rock. Now knock it off..." You whined. Plugging your ears tightly with your hands. Knowing the youngest of the crew would continue to target practice.
BOOM!
The boys continued to shoot, and shoot, and shoot. Soon enough you had a skull splitting headache. Wondering if the headache really would split your skull right open. You knew that was impossible but it left room for thinking. Zoro found the noises annoying and bothersome as well. Knowing the heavy sleeping he was, just blocling out the noises without difficulty.
"Gah!!!" Usopp shrieked, hiding beside you, behind the mast out of pure fear alone.
"YOU BASTARDS! WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO DESERVE THIS!?" Out of the blue. A man wearing black shades wearing a blue hooded jacket, was unleashing attacks of pure rage onto Luffy and Nami with a rectangular bladed sword. Nami used her wooden staff to keep the sword from doing any harm. Immediately, you recognized the man from anywhere. But what bothered you most was the fact that he was even here or acting so on the whim. Johnny acts within reason... Most of the time.
"Cool it Johnny," you raised your voice to catch his attention. When Johnny resumed to attack Luffy, you growled sitting forward on your spot. Forcing Zoro to awaken from his nap.
"You know this man?" Usopp pointed at angry man Johnny with his index finger. Shivering with fear but shooting wild looks into your direction.
"Yeah..." You nodded your head. "I used to travel with him... Wasn't the wisest decision I've ever made," Usopp gave you a hand up. Sighing loudly as you really did not want to break up a fight. But your hand was forced, unsheathing one of your swords swiftly. The sun gleamed over the silver blade brilliantly.
"It's been a while Johnny," you spoke in low tones. Taking dominance as the boy stepped into your territory. Striking like a snake, knocking the sword right out of his hands. Beads of sweat rolled down the side of his head. Backing up against the railing of Merry.
