After this chapter, this book no longer follows the story/plot line of the show.

"Well look at that," Zoro nudges you in the arm lightly with his elbow. Repeating the action until you had finally looked in his direction. Eyes widening in awe.

You chuckled softly, leaning into Zoro's side. "Yeah... You don't see that everyday," you couldn't help but agree with Zoro. Glad that he had made you look at quite the unique sight. Off in the near horizon, a boat, and not any old boat, but a boat in the shape of a large gaping mouthed fish. Matched with an orange and green color scheme. You'd be damned to find another ship quite as unique (and funny looking) as that.

"I don't know," Zoro smirked, gently pulling you closer to his hip. "After joining Luffy, we've seen some pretty weird shit," Zoro managed to force a needed laugh out of you. Overall glad to find that the striving swordsman was actually enjoying himself for a change. Much compared to before Luffy came around, Zoro was like his childhood 'Big Brother' self again.

You began to count with your fingers, "Buggy the clown who could take off his body parts," raises one finger. "His henchman with the lion, the hypnotist with swag, Kuro who uses ten swords like claws, and Gaimon the bush haired midget in a treasure chest!" You raised up four more fingers to an entire hands full of weird encounters. You had found yourself in an everlasting circle of joyous laughter upon listing the most weirdest men you've came across in this nearly begun journey.

There was a loud clap. "All of them definitely had their quirks," Nami approached you and Zoro with a large smile, rubbing her hands together gingerly. "Nice to finally see you two smile. I take it that Johnny and Yosuku had awakened that missing spark within you both?" Surprised to have found out that Nami actually paid that close of attention to you remotely at all. It got you thinking, but Zoro beat you to the punch.

"I'll admit, ever since we've ran into them dumbasses again nearly a week ago, everything just feels easier. I haven't felt this relaxed in a long while," Zoro even sounded at peace just saying that little speech of his. You could see the overjoyed youth within his normally fierce features. A long missed sight. Bringing back even more memories than the first time.

"Agreed," was all that you could say. You hugged his bulky arm loosely with closed eyes. Why ruin the moment with more words? You wanted the happiness to last that absolute longest it can.

"I'll leave you two be. We'll be arriving at the Baratie momentarily," Nami waved goodbye as she stepped away. Examining a neatly drawn map that she had on hand. Grinning at what you had assumed was her own piece of work. Zoro didn't really pay any attention to her, eyes set on the floating sea restaurant of the East Blue. He definitely had something else on his mind, but no matter how hard you thought about it, nothing could hint towards whatever it was. But it had something to do with the restaurant. Leave it to fate?

Upon arrival at the famous sea restaurant, peace didn't set in so well. Of all times, why now? A Marine ship was docked at the Baratie, their captain sitting inside having dinner with his honey. You can connect the dots... Marines and Pirates don't mix. Luffy acted in the moment, protecting the beloved Merry by accidentally deflecting a shot cannonball right at the Baratie instead of right back at the Marine battleship that caused the conflict in the first place. Now the captain had no other choice but to dedicate his time towards being the Baratie's chore boy for who knows how long? The crew was broke...

"Hey (Y/n)," Nami had a large grin plastered across her face. Her chestnut eyes brimming with energy. "I'm going to the Baratie for a proper meal. Want to come along?" Nami offered up. You mouth began to water at the thought of having some of the best food known throughout the four seas. Who would pass up this opportunity? Not you that's for sure.
