#15
This morning I woke up with Phil curled up in the foetus position and pressed against my chest, my arms wrapped around him. His hands were clenched into fists which were also pressed against my chest. My hand carefully stroked his hair, curling it around my fingers slightly and stopped as he stirred for a moment.
I worried, thinking I had woken him up but instead he just shuffled closer, his head nuzzled into my chest as well. I smiled, he almost reminded me of a child. I decided I was going to have a quick shower and get changed into clothes. I sighed, I'd just have to re-wear the ones I wore yesterday as I had no new clothes.
Carefully, I unwrapped my arms from around him and pecked the top of his head before leaving him in bed, wrapping the duvet closely around him so he wouldn't lose as much cold as I left. I walked out of his bedroom, sliding past the spare bed which I hadn't slept in and walked into Phil's upstairs bathroom. I pretty much knew the layout of his house like the back of my hand due to me hanging around here a lot when I was younger. I turned on the shower after stripping and pulled myself in, the water already steaming making me have to make the water colder since it had scalded my skin. As usual, I started whispering lyrics under my breath to Famous Last Words by My Chemical Romance.
"A life that's so demanding... I get so weak..." I sang quietly. "A love that's so demanding... I can't speak."
"I am not afraid to keep on living..." I sang as I climbed out of the shower and grabbed a towel. "I am not afraid to walk this world alone."
I wrapped the towel around my waist after I has rubbed my back and chest slightly, then walking back into Phil's room where I saw him sat up in bed, his head deep in a book. His head looked up, his blue eyes pierced mine and he smiled.
"Morning," he yawned.
"I - I didn't wake you up did I?" I asked anxiously, picking up my boxers.
"No, the shower did," he replied looking back into his book before closing it and climbing out of bed. He walked up to me and kissed my lips quickly.
"Love you,"
"Love you too," I replied, then I walked across the room to the bag where I had stuff my clothes away in.
Suddenly I felt my towel drop from my waist and on the floor, my immediate reaction being to cover my bottom half with my hands. I turned around and saw Phil who had also gone red.
"Phil!"
"I didn't mean to! Your towel got stuck on my finger..." he blushed and I laughed.
I wrapped the towel around me again and playfully shoved him.
"That is a feeble excuse as far as I'm concerned Mr Lester," I joked.
He rolled his eyes before saying;
"You can borrow my clothes if you'd like," He smiled.
"Thanks," I stroked his fringe out of his eyes and walked over to his wardrobe, opening it to see a ray of colours unlike my own wardrobe which consisted of black.
"Hey Phil, I have a fun idea," I said excitedly turning to look at him as he was putting his book away.
"And what fun idea is that?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"I choose what you wear and you choose what I wear!" I exclaimed, rather chuffed with my idea. Phil giggled and ruffled my hair once he was stood next to me.
"Cute," he commented. "Sure, sounds like fun."
I smiled, flashing my dimples for a second. Suddenly I watched as Phil climbed into the wardrobe, puzzlement consuming my mind and I couldn't help but ask what he was doing in there.
