I groan and turn off the alarm and roll over in bed and look at my beautiful sleeping boyfriend okay everyone I have a surprise im going ring shopping because I want to ask Alex to marry me but I want to ask him on his birthday in July and im so excited because I love him and I want to spend the rest of my life with him and it would be a great birthday gift for him and his brother is going to go with me.

Ring ring.

I grab my cell off the nightstand and pick it up.

"Hey Philip its Cameron!"

"hey so you still coming with me?" I ask.

"yeah what time you want me to pick you up?"Cameron asks.

"at 11:30 that's when they open!"

"okay I'll be there at 11:15"Cam says.

"okay thanks bye!"

"bye!"I check my phone and its 10am.

I slowly get out of bed and grab some clothes heading to take a shower I wash and rinse off my body and hair and grab a fluffy towel and wrap it around my waist.

"Where you going baby?"Alex asks sitting up rubbing his eyes.

"uh going to go hangout with a friend from work!"I make up an excuse as I get dressed.

"Really at 10am?"Alex questions.

I walk into my closet and find some shoes I walk out of the closet and finish getting ready.

"yes really! why so many questions?"I finish tying my shoes and start walking downstairs with Alex at my heels.

"it was only one question! why are you getting so defensive?"Alex asks.

"im not can I go somewhere without you questioning me!"he groans.

"im just asking a question philip all you have to do is answer it you've been acting weird ever since my parents came!"

"its nothing ALRIGHT?"I yell and Alex flinches.

"im sorry!"he looks down sadly I mentally groan and walk over to him and bring him close.

"im sorry baby I really am im just going out with a friend okay!"Alex sniffles and nods.

"I love you!"I smile.

"Ditto!"I kiss Alex and check my watch and it says 11:15.

"okay I love you bye!"I tell Alex and walk outside as Cameron pulls up I hop in the car and we drive off to Jared's Jewelry store.

"hey you okay man?"Cameron asks.

I run my fingers through my hair"I kind of yelled at him he kept asking all of these questions and I got frustrated I feel like such an ass"Cameron stops at a red light and pats my back.

"okay here's the plan Phil. First,we'll got buy an engagement ring. Second, we'll go buy him a Teddy bear that says sorry a bag of sour skittles and a nice romantic date and maybe you'll have desert later if you know what I mean!"he winks at me I roll my eyes.

"okay lets get going then!"I tell Cam.

We make it to Jared's on time Cam and I walk in and a bell rings.
