So, this being the last chapter and all, I'm kinda (okay a lot) in my feels and I'm just feeling so many different emotions I can't pick just one song. So here's a list you can choose from! ❤️

Him & I - G-Eazy & Halsey
Bad Together - Dua Lipa
Let's Get Lost - G-Easy (feat. Devon Baldwin)
Breathe - Lauv
Leave a Light On (Acoustic) - Tom Walker

The hours seemed to pass in a blur but the time I've spent here in this overcrowded club was nothing compared to my shot count. I knew right after downing the first fiery shot of B-52, I would be a goner within the hour.

I lived up to my expectations, that was for sure.

Being here alone didn't bother me as much as I thought it would, but the fact that I constantly felt Preston's eyes on me throughout the night made me feel like I wasn't unattended whatsoever.

I threw my head back harshly, allowing the shot to glide down my throat, the burning sensation adding to my buzz.

When I reached down to grab another, I crossed my arms and jutted my lower lip out.

A soft hand was placed on my lower back a second later, a blonde haired green eyed boy leaning forward to meet my gaze in the rather dark nightclub.

"What's wrong?" He yells over the music, that pretty boy smile never leaving his lips.

Indistinctively, I leaned closer.

If there was one thing I learned from the parties and clubs I've gone to, it's that everything is so fucking loud, if you were to tell someone you're going to get a drink, speaking from more than a foot away, they'd misinterpret your words into something totally extraneous.

Like heading back to their place, for example.

I blinked away my haze, realizing I had leaned closer to the boy, but said nothing.

"We're outta shots," I inform him, my words sloppy and barely understandable.

He understood me somehow and nodded. "I'll go get us another round." Jabbing his thumb behind him, he retreats backwards with an easy smile.

Hiccuping obnoxiously, I wave a hand. "You're the man, J."

A second later, he disappeared into the crowd, his attractive features gaining the attention of a handful of girls.

I turned around, prepared to join the dance floor but end up smacking unwanted soberness into me when I ran into someone.

"Whoah, Ada." After my mild temper tantrum, I look over at the person who I had just run into, pouting heavily. "Are you hydrated?"

I raise my pointer finger in the air, opening my mouth to answer, but the auburn haired girl beats me to it.

Mimicking my moves, she raises a finger cheekily. "And I don't mean alcohol. Maybe H20?"

I lower my finger, sucking in my lower lip. "In that case, no, you smartasssss." I drag out the 'S' longer than necessary.

"Maybe you should." She winked at me coyly, her hazel eyes appearing much darker.

"What if I don't wanna, Scarlet." I poke her arm with a firm finger, a lazy smile on my lips.

Rolling her eyes, she loops her arm through mine and directs me towards a vacant bar table. "Hey, this is not-the dance floor," I whined childishly, hopping onto the leather bar stool nonetheless.
