The day I met Jack Quin Smith, I knew that we were meant for each other. His hair, his eyes, his big goofy smile. Every word in my vocabulary was replaced with one Jack. His hugs were the best. I guess it was the way that he pressed his body against mine, placed his hands on the small of my back, and leaned over to smell my hair. Every time he touched me, it felt as if I'd never been touched before, every nerve in my body shutters and my whole body blushes. I want him. I need him. It's like I'm drowning in his embrace.
Ring ring ring! " Ugh, school," I say with a zombie voice. I slowly reach over to my night stand and set my phone alarm to snooze for ten minutes. I lazily pull the covers over my head.
For some reason I'm in bed with Jack and my head feels lighter than a cloud. "Good morning beautiful," he says in the voice that makes me know he knows he's lucky to have me as his. "Good morning handsome," I say in a raspy voice while plopping my head next to his and feeling the warmth of his body so close to mine. He lays his arm on my waist where my curves begin and smiles his big, adorable, goofy smile that makes me feel warm inside. My heart beats faster as if it will burst out of my chest and run around the room. His hand makes its way up to my neck and he runs his fingers through my hair in complete awe that a guy like him could have a girl like me even though he knows I want him. With his hand in my hair, I smile and bite my lip. He lifts his head and guides my chin forward. He closes his eyes and I close mine as...
Ring ring ring! I open my foggy eyes to reveal light. I hiss at it. Realizing that my alarm is ringing and echoing through the house, I swipe my finger over the cold plasma of my phone and turn off the alarm. Reluctantly, I swing my feet over to the side of my bed and touch my toes to the smooth, cold wood floor of my room. Walking zombie like, I go to the mirror. There are mascara markings all under my eyes and my almond colored face is now as white as paper. I open my makeup drawer and pick up my concealer and the brush that I apply it with. All of my daily makeup is perfectly lined up in an order that makes perfect sense to me. I use the fluffy brush and go from my inner corner to the apples of my cheeks and to the outer part of my eyes. I use circular motions until it's all blended and then I use the same brush for blush. I line my lips with a rosy pink then fill them in with a coral. Then, I finish the look with some copper shimmery eyeshadow and a bit of mascara. I move my face side to side inspecting my work and walk over to my closet. I open the door and run my fingers down the hangers with an indecisive look on my face. I spot the dress I had recently bought at Forever 21 that has always on vacay in bold white letters over the pink base for contrast. I go over to my chocolate colored dresser and open my sock drawer. I scavenge for my black thigh high socks and jump to get them over my knees. I grab my adidas and slip them on. "There is one thing missing," I say to myself. "Ahha! It's the necklace Jack gave me," I say with a silly face. I put it on and sweep my medium length hair to the left. "To school I go!"
