You and Zach are best friends and lately you have had trouble with anxiety and depression because your parents have just divorced and your friends have all left you out. You were walking back from school alone when your bestfriend Zack walked up to you
Zach-"hey y/n, are you okay? You looked a little lonely and sad today"
Y/n-"yep I'm complete fine zach, thanks for asking" you said in your normal voice so he wouldn't worry about you
Zach-"alright just know that I'm here for you no matter what okay!"
Y/n-"thanks zach" you said with a forced smile on your face... he hugged you and walked to his house alone which was only a couple doors down from yours... you got in your house compete ignoring your parents...
y/m/n-"y/n, lovely how did it go in sch-"she was cut off by you slammin the front door. You hear her walking up the stairs and you went to lock your door but you remembered that they took your lock away from you. Your mom opens the door and stands inbetween the wall and the door.
Y/m/n-"honey, you need to decide who your gonna stay with me or your father"
Y/n-"right now?"
Y/m/n-"yes, sweetie"
Y/n-"who's going were?" You say with no complete care in your voice at all
Y/m/n-"well I'm staying here and your fathers going to Chicago"
Y/n-"I'll stay here with you mom" you then hear your dad running up the stairs... he used to be quite abusive with you and your mom but was sent to jail and then came back better. He reaches your bedroom and pushes your moms head of the wall
Y/f/n-"YOU ARE COMING WITH ME"
Y/n-"No I'm not I'm staying with mom" you shout back while walking over to your mom and comforting her on your bed
Y/f/n-"no y/n, your coming with me, you wouldn't like that little Zach boy to see the bruises on you would you?" He said while smiling
Y/n-"go to hell" you mumble
Y/f/n-"what was that" he said in an angry voice
Y/n-"I SAID GO TO HELL"
Y/f/n-"that's it little girl, Don't be cheeky to your parent" he started walking over to you as you where going into the corner of your room trying to stop the tears from falling down your cheeks. He pushes you against the wall and backhands your face leaving a red mark
Y/n-"stop, in sorry please" you say while crying
Y/f/n-"you better be little girl! Now... I'm moving tomorrow and your coming with me"
Y/n-" I don't wanna go with you tho... can I stay here with mom plea..please" you say while sniffing getting ready for another hit
Y/f/n-"no you cannot"
Y/m/n-"yes she can... honey you can" she said while looking at me. I give her a weak smile and go in to hug her.
Y/f/n-"Fine you can stay here, but when this thing wants to get rid off you don't come crawling to me" he looked at your mom and gave her a dirty look while running back down the stairs grabbing his stuff and slamming the door...
y/m/n-"y/n honey, call an ambulance, I.i feel really dizzy"
Y/n-"mom are you okay"
Y/m/n-"no honey call an ambulance and your auntie...." before she could finish her sentence she fainted backwards and luckily my bed was there to comfort her or she would have had a bad head injury, you run to your phone as soon as possible and starts diallin 911
Worker- 911 what's your emergency
You-my mom just fainted and she won't wake up, she's breathing but she in unconscious
Worker-okay, what's her name and where do you live
You-her names y/m/n and we live on ******** Avenue. Please hurry
Worker- okay there will be an ambulance with you in about 7 minutes, I want you to wait and the door for the ambulance to come and after this call could you call someone to take care of you"
You- yeah my auntie Jenna will!
Worker-okay wait at the door
You-thanks bye
You go downstairs and open the door waiting for the ambulance to come while fiddling with your fingers. You hear a knock of the door thinking it was the ambulance but it was zach. You open the door and start to speak when you realised it was Zach
Y/n-"hey Zach what you doing here?"
Zach -"umm I came to check on you, what's wrong, why have you been crying" just as he said that you hear the sirens
Y/n-"wait in the kitchen I'll be in a few minutes"
Zach-"what's wrong y/n why is they an ambulance"
Y/n-"just go wait"
The nurse comes out the ambulance with a body board and you take them upstairs as quickly as you can to your mom, they start doing a test on her in the bedroom but something went wrong
Nurse-"hello, your mom has lost a lot of blood and we will need to take her down to the station, how old are you exactly?"
Y/n-"15 and why is she gonna be okay?"
Nurse-"I don't know yet but can you call a parent or adult to come with her seeing as your too young to come in the ambulance"
Y/n-"yes but she might take long to get here, if I call her can she meet you at the hospital?"
Nurse-sure!"
You end the conversation and run down stairs as the ambulance is leaving
Zach-"now tell me what happened"
Y/n-"I need to call my aunt Jenna, then I will I promise"
Zach-"here use my phone"
You call Jenna and tell her what happened and she headed down to the hospital collecting you and zach first
Receptionist-"who are you here to see?"
Jenna-"y/m/n"
Receptionist-"room 67 on floor 4"
You didn't bother to say thanks and just ran straight up the stairs to room 67. As you walk in you here the radio on.
Y/m/n- honey, your here, with Zack and Jenna"
Y/n-"yes mom, how are you feeling?"
She tells you that she had a brain injury and has to stay in the hospital for 3 more days u TIL she can leave because they need to run a few tests on her. She also goes on to say how aunt Jenna can only stay with her because your too young to stay in the hospital.
Y/m/n-"so will you be able to stay in the house alone or should I call your cousins?"
Y/n-" mom I'll be fine"
Zach-"can I stay if she wants company" he jokes
Y/m/n-"yes brilliant idea!"
Y/n-"that's not necessary zach" you say while standing secretly in his foot
Zach-"nope I'm staying in the guest room"

You finish talking and by the time you were finished it was 8:00 so you and Zach call an Uber and head home. Walk into the house and jump on the couch sighing in relief
Zach-"okay tell me now, you promised"
Y/n-"fine" you start explains what you friends did to you and then about your father and the divorce...
zach-"So your telling me, for the past 3 weeks your dad has started being abusive again, and your friends just left you"
Y/n-"yep!"
Zach-"why didn't you tell me?"
Y/n-"Cus after a while, I kinda felt like you'll get sick of hearing my problems and leave me leave me like everyone else"
Zach-"y/n, I would never leave you, your my best friend"
Y/n-"thanks Zach"
Zach-"what did your dad do again?"
Y/n-"he said if I didn't I with him that hells show yo.. never mind"

y/n-"nothing" you say with a worry in your voice
Zach-"stop lying and tell me please"

Zach-"okay" you lift up your shirt so he can see all the bruises and cuts on your back. You then wipe on your makeup so he see your purple eye and then lift up you trousers to show him the brutal wounds and scars on your legs. He lets out a shocked face and hugs you tight. You were hugging for about 3 minutes when he pulls away looks at you and hugs you again.
Zach-"next time, someone hurts you tell me okay"
Y/n-"okay" you say with a tear running down your face.
Y/n-"I'm gonna go shower"
Zach-"okay... I know where the guest bedroom is so I'll run home get some clothes and come back yeah"
Y/n-"okay" you pull away from the hug and walk upstairs to your bathroom. You run the water so it's the right Temperature and get it... after about 20 minutes you get out, blow dry your hair and get into your onesie... you go downstairs and see Zach sitting on the couch wearing his onesie and eating Cheetos. You make yourself a bowl of cereal and sit next to him put on Netflix and watch a few episodes of stranger things... you get tired so your put your stuff away and walk upstairs with Zach following you... you get into your bedroom and Zach follows you
Y/n-"Zach... the guest bedrooms on that side"
Zach-" I know"
Y/n-"then what you doing in here"
Zach-"well... I think you've forgotten that there's a whole load of your clothes lying all over the floor..."
Y/n-"Omg Im so sorry, you can sleep in here and I'll sleep on the couch"
Zach-"I would never let you sleep on the couch, I'll sleep on the couch"
Y/n-"okay don't be stupid... ill sleep on the couch you have my bed"
Zach-"how about no... I'll sleep on the floor"
Y/n-"you can cuddle with me" you said with a giggle

Zach-"don't worry I won't" you get in the bed and turn of the lamp while facing his back towards him...
5:00am
You wake up cud you felt Zachs arms around you... you want to move them but you don't want to wake him up
Y/n-"zach" you whisper he lets out a little snore and breathes loudly... you can't help but laugh
Zach-"what's so funny"
Y/n-"oh you're awake"
Zach-"only cuz you laughed"
Y/n-"sorry, your arms around me waist did u know that?"

Zach-"this is the truth, and you might not believe me, but, yo..your absolutely amazing, your beautiful, strong, smart, and sexy not gonna lie" he said still half asleep "and I've wanted to tell you thing for ages, but I've never had the balls to, y/n, you are amazing and I would love you to be my girlfriend" as he said that he moved closer... you felt his breath on you neck and your eyes widened.
Y/n-"zach... are you being serious right now"
Zach-"yep, and you don't have to date me, I just want to know that you love me" he said whispering in your ear softly

Zach-"finally, I can finally call you my girl" he said while kissing your neck softly and cuddling you from behind
