"Samantha straighten your posture" My mom shouts. I'm at a horse riding lesson, My favorite thing to do.

I was going over a jump and it was maybe one of the highest i've did.

My horse after that felt a little wobbly. I hold tighter and as we go around the turn and she jumps up and i end up falling off, the bar landing on my leg.

It hurt so bad and i felt some tears roll down my cheek.

"Samantha..." My moms voice starts getting louder as she approaches me, bending down.

"Get sparkle" I sit up straight. Sparkle is the name of my horse.

"you're crying" She lifts the pole off my leg and puts her hand on my shoulder.

"Mom sparkle will get out, just get her" I give her an assuring smile. I've fallen off many horses before but none of them have felt like this.

This is a different type of pain that isn't good.

"I'll be a second" She stands up and runs off. While she was running off, I just touch my leg and it hurt so bad. Then i started to notice some swelling near my ankle. This has never happened to me before.

I attempt to try and lift myself up but once slight pressure is put upon my leg, i fell down again.

Mom runs back over with my brother, Our whole family does horse riding.

"What happened?" He asks, Looking down at my leg.

"I fell off and the bar landed on me" I push his hand away from trying to touch it. it's too sore.

"You've probably sprained it, come on" Him and Mom lift me up and walk into the stable.

"You need rest" Mom bends down and slowly attempts to take my shoe off. I was crying so much it hurt that bad.

"Maybe we should take you to the hospital" She puts my shoe back on, but doesn't tie it up.

"No, It's fine" I sniff. Hospital will probably say that i can't ride for a couple weeks.

"Samantha it's swelling up and i know you're hurting, We're going to the hospital" She shouts for my brother and they carry me to the car.

I wanted to take my shoe off just to see what it was but it just hurt way too much.

Once we reach the hospital my brother carries me to the waiting area while my mom checks me in.

"Of course you would be the one to injure yourself right before the competition" My brother jokes.

"You're hilarious, It's probably nothing serious" I hope it's nothing serious.

He nods and 30 minutes later we get seen. My brother helping me to the area.

My nurse took me to a shared room. Small hospital.

There was a boy here, He was cute. It looked like he was asleep.

There was also another girl here with her arm in a cast, Then a free bed opposite mine.

"What happened" She asks.

"Fell off my horse" I look down. She nods and in the waiting area they gave me painkillers, they didn't help.

She starts having look and i go for an X-ray and they bring me back into the room.

I broke my foot.

How amazing is that.

"But can i still do horse riding...?" I chew on my lip.
