Millie's POV:
I hear the steady hum of a van's wheels below me along with the scent of safety swarmed around me. With a soft mumble of nothing, my eyes flutter open only to be greeted by the sight of a boy with brown stars sprinkled across his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. His dark curls hang over me due to his lips and cheek bones almost been completely covered by his hands that keep his head from making him tumble over his lap and therefore, me. You really are the biggest heartthrob there is, huh Wolfhard? A smile rises on my lips as I stare at his asleep state, reaching up I gently put my finger on a curl and move it down quickly only for it to bounce back into it's original state. Repressing a giggle I turn my head away from Finn, gazing over to the other side of the van where Gaten and Noah lay on the sprawled out suitcases. Noah sleeping on his stomach, using Gaten's arm as a personal pillow, and the curly haired boy on his back with quiet but present snores escaping his throat. I smirk at the adorable sight. Losers.
Slowly, I roll off of Finn's lap and walk the few feet I need down the van to where Caleb sits comfortably behind the wheel. So much for crutches. Standing between the two chairs with my hands clutching to them for support in the moving car, I stare out the windshield at the starry night sky full of countless stars. "Wow.." I whisper, never having seen so many in my life. Caleb glances over his shoulder at me; acting as if he hadn't heard me come over over the sound of his own tiredness, I bet. He follows my eyes to the sky, cracking a smile at the sight as he nods. "Yeah, sure is a sight.. huh?" He says with a pearly white smile that contrasts against his skin. "Definitely." I admit with a joyous sigh. He lets out a short, quiet laugh at my reaction as I then crawl into the empty passenger seat. "So, where exactly are we going?" The brown eyed teen questions with his curious gaze still settled on the, almost empty, tar road laid out before us.
"My sister's in Indianapolis." I explain, even the thought of seeing her again making my heart swell. He raises a brow, "Your sister's? Does she know were coming?" Caleb asks skeptically. I let out a nervous laugh, "Well.. you see.." I trail off, causing his eyes to widen as he quickly glances over to me with obvious fear on his dark face. "She doesn't know?!" "Shh!" I snap, pressing my finger to my lips and gesturing my head to the sleeping passengers behind us. He shoots me a glare despite his willingness to oblige. "How do you know she won't send us back, or better yet, turn us in?" He queries through gritted teeth as he now stares forward at the road, and only the road. I roll my eyes, "She's my sister Caleb. I know my sister and if she hasn't changed since the last time I saw her- which was three months ago, mind you- then I know she'll be more than willing to let us stay with her. But more importantly, I know she'd understand and without a doubt keep us hidden until the search for us is off."
"Until the search is off?" He repeats in confusion. "What happens after the search is off?" Caleb asks worriedly. Once again with the questions.. does this guy ever stop? "Well I don't know, Caleb. I guess we'll find out when that happens, but for now our main objective is to simply get there." I answer with the smallest hint of annoyance hidden in my words. He purses his lips together as he gives me one last skeptical look, until finally letting the topic drop as he directs his gaze back to the road. I run a hand through my soft hair, realizing that it's grown almost a whole inch since the time I met these guys. Crazy how time flies. I stare out the windshield for a while, just embracing the feeling of being around the best people I know with all the stress of my life behind me.. for the most part at least.
"You really love him, don't you?" Caleb mentions abruptly. For a second I think I just imagined him speaking, because when I look over to him with my eyebrows risen, his stare is still on the road as it was before. "Finn." He further explains as he nods his head slightly back towards the sleeping boy. "Oh.. yeah." I admit sheepishly, diverting my eyes to my lap as I feel a sudden warmth come to my cheeks. "I'm happy for you guys." He admits with a small smirk, "I know none of us really say anything.. but I think we all are really glad you came here Millie." An unknown smile creeps onto my face, a warmhearted, truly genuine smile. "If it wasn't for you, I don't think Finn ever would've became the guy he is today. And that's- that's saying something." He laughs out with his contagious smile, causing me to do the same. "Well, if it means anything, I'm really glad I came here too." I confess with a grin to which he nods in agreement, mirroring the same expression with his eyes still locked on the road ahead. It's only then that I realize this was the conversation needed for Caleb and I to truly be bonded friends. And now, somehow, I finally know all of their true selves.

Finn's POV:
"Stop it! Leave me alone!" I whine yet still smiling widely with flushed cheeks. "Ooo.. Finnie Boi's in love!" Noah teases, acting much like a sixth grader as he nudges shoulders with me repeatedly. "My gosh, Noah! You're such a fucking child. Of course I'm in love, moron." I respond as I ruffle his already messy hair and push him away from Millie and I as we stand in the 7-eleven with Sadie and Caleb waiting for us at the van. "Oh c'mon, who wouldn't find a couple having a tickle fight in the middle of a gas station cute?" Noah questions with a smirk, only for me to lightly push him away again as he starts chuckling. "What do you want?" I ask kindly as Millie scans over the glass fridges full of options. She hums as a response, "You don't need to pay for me. I have money, you know." The Brit insists with her hand placed on the hip she leans her weight on. A small smile forms on my face, one that is quickly erased by wetting my lips. "I know you do, but that's not going to stop me from being a gentleman. After all, you are my highness." I smirk, saying the last sentence in a sophisticated voice. One that she simply shakes her head at with a bright smile flashing my way. "Fine, whatever you say beanie boy." She allows, picking out a Sprite and starting to the cash register with me on her heels.
"You sure this is all you want? No food?" I question the brunette I've grown to love, though she only nods in return. With a sigh, I take the ten dollar bill from my wallet and hand it to the teenager behind the register who's name tag reads 'Jeremy'. "Have a great day." He mutters shyly, handing me the items and my change. "You too, Jeremy. Have a good one." I say with a smile, causing a minor one to actually form on his face as he finally looks up at me. "Thank you." Jeremy smiles, waving goodbye as he then starts ringing up Noah when Millie and I leave. "He seemed nice." Millie mentions, referring to the slightly out of shape teen I talked to. "He seemed like a loser.. but not in a bad way, if that makes sense." I add with furrowed brows. "I understand, Finn." She chuckles, placing a hand on my shoulder that produces yet another smile on my face. "Cool." I mumble with a slight smile as we walk towards the van. She gazes up at me with those wondrous, curious eyes of hers and repeats the word, "Cool."
