"Ri, make sure to lock up and there's money on the kitchen table to order you something when you get hungry!" My mom yelled up the stairs, she was going out with a couple of her friends tonight so I would have the house to myself.
"Ok!" I responded.
I walked out of my room and made my way down the stairs.
"Bye baby." My mom said as she kissed my forehead.
"See you later mom." I said as she walked out and I closed the door behind her before locking it.
I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a water. I took a sip as I glanced at the money on the table. I grabbed the $40 dollars and went back upstairs.
When I got to my room, I grabbed my speaker and paired my phone to it. I ended up playing SZA - Broken Clocks which is my favorite song at the moment.

I danced around the room as I sang along before my phone dinged, stopping the music. I walked over and looked down at my phone and it was Amani.
Mani: What are you doing tonight? I'm sooooo bored😩 - 6:12pm
I laughed at how dramatic she was before I texted back.
Me: I'm home by myself, come over. - 6:13pm
I looked down at my phone as she read the message and then replied "Ok." I then called Amaru but he didn't answer so I ended up calling Amani to see where he was.
"Hello." She answered.
"Where's Amaru?" I asked.
"With Amanda." She said with annoyance in her voice.
"Oh, well hurry up and come over. My mom just left out." I said.
"Ok, I'm about to try to call Amaru and see if he'll drop me off there, if not I'll just call an Uber." She said.
"Ok." I said before my phone made a noise indicating someone was on the other line.
