Riley

"Hi." I said as I reached his car.

He didn't say anything back, he just put his blunt out and opened the passenger side door for me. I got in and he closed the door behind me as he walked around to the other side of the car and got in.

We sat in silence as we sat in front of the school.

"Are we just going to sit here?" I asked.

"We're waiting for Jayla." He said but didn't look at me.

I rolled my eyes hard at the sound of this girl's name. He really dated all the wrong girls. It was clear this girl didn't really like him. She was only with him because she didn't like Amanda and he was using her to make Amanda jealous because he felt as though Amanda had the upper hand.

"You know what, I'll walk." I said getting out and slamming the door behind me.

I walked fast as it started snowing out of nowhere.

"Great." I said to myself.

I heard Amaru's car start up and he pulled up to me as I walked.

"Go away." I said to him, looking forward.

"Get the fu-" He snapped but stopped hisself when I looked at him like he was crazy.

"Get in the car Riley please, we really need to talk." He said calmly this time and I looked over to him as I stopped.

"About what? There's nothing to talk about." I sighed.

"Please, best friend." He pleaded.

I reluctantly opened the door and got in. When I got in, I heard the back door open as well.

"Sorry, I took so long babe. I was talking to my teacher about these over break assignments." Jayla said.

I leaned onto the window and I didn't say a word, I was over this whole situation. It was really stressful liking my best friend.

Amaru pulled off and didn't say a word, he just focused on the road.

"Put your seatbelt on." He said as we pulled up to a red light and he looked over to me.

I put it on and I went back to looking out the window. The snow was starting to stick and I definitely didn't want to be out here in it.

"Where do you live again?" Amaru asked Jayla.

"Make a right at the light and you'll be at my house." She smiled.

He did as told and she recorded as he drove.

"My baby driving me home." She squealed as she clearly recorded for her Snapchat.

I rolled my eyes again for the 100th time, I was completely over this girl at the moment. We finally pulled up to her house and I couldn't thank god enough.

"Thank you boo, will I see you over break?" She asked Amaru.

"Of course." He smiled at her.
