WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND?
words by Ayradel

What's on my mind?
Nothing.
Not until
the clock strikes twelve in the morning,
As another hope came for some,
I started to drown in my own thoughts again.

It's funny how
I can read people's faces
and notice every little changes
From the way they talk
The way they walk
The way they look
And the way
they lose interest in me.

I hate thinking
and'll end up hurting
Thoughts that sting my soul
my brain, my veins, my bones
Like a sharp sea water
Leaving an invisible cut
On my legs, my arm and my heart

It's calming,
how this pain
can make you numb
'Til there's no words left
When they ask you
What's on your mind.
