The cloudy skies
Surprise me
When I woke
I saw the sun shinning brightlyThe daisies
Still alive
I don't know why
It must be one
Of winter's illusionsI listen to the birdies
Chirp
Their winter tune
At half past noonThe hairs on my neck
Are standing straight up
As the chilly morning breeze
Washes over meWinter has come at last
Time to break out
My old sweatpantsGet out my favorite book
And curl up by the fire
Cause it's the beginning of winter
And I'm already
So tired
