"Ebarra im hatu Kashka ummmmm?" Jonathan read as he trips and falls on his ass. Imhotep charges forward. Rick slashes two more chains. Only one more left holding Evelyn. Jonathan sits up and quickly looks back at the cover. Evan leans down more, ignoring the pain. Her index and middle finger wrap around the dagger. Evan pulls it up and holds it tightly.

"Rasheem Aaaaa ANUBIS!" Jonathan yelled the last bit. Imhotep raises the sacrificial sword, about to kill Jonathan. And that's when the giant statue of Anubis suddenly crashes through the wall shades of Ray Harryhausen. Only better.

The god of Deaths, horrible, decrepit stone face stares angrily down. Jonathan stares back. "Oh boy." The older Carnahan muttered. Evan quickly cut the restrains on her wrist. As she freed her arm she noticed the big bruise that had formed.

O'Connell decapitates a mummy and looks up at Anubis. "This just keeps gettin, better and better." Rick said sarcastically. Evan quickly cut the restrains on her ankles and turned towards her sister. Imhotep leaves Jonathan and heads for the giant statue.

Rick leaps over and with one last swing of the sword, frees Evelyn from her chains. More Priest-mummies attack, forcing him away. Evelyn jumps off the altar and starts to head for Rick, "Go with Jonathan, Evie!" Evan yelled at her sister. Suddenly, a skeleton hand grabs her and spins her around. It's Anck-su-namun's rotted corpse. Evan looked at her wide eyed.

Imhotep looks up at Anubis, points to Rick, and in ancient Egyptian commands him to attack. Anubis moves for Rick, stomping over mausoleums and through the detritus moat on his way. Rick quickly backs away. "Do something, Jonathan! Kill it!" Rick ordered.

Jonathan looked wide eyed. "You have got to be kidding me!" Jonathan mutters as Evelyn reaches him. Evan backs away from Anck-Su-Namun.

"Finish the inscription, Jonathan! Evelyn!" Evan yelled. Jonathan said a quiet, oh, and looked at the cover. Evelyn as well. Anck-su-namun attacks Evan. Evan blocks her hits as best she can. Jonathan quickly looks back at the hieroglyphs on the book cover, fumbling badly under the pressure.

"Hootash im... Hootash im now what is this last symbol here?" Jonathan asked Evelyn who looked wide eyed.

"That's the symbol I fail to remember." Evelyn informed. Evan quickly glances at her siblings before focusing her attention on the mummy.

"What's it look like?" Evan asked as she gasped out. Anck-su-namun grabs Evan by the throat. The statue of Anubis corners Rick, reaches down and grabs him with it's massive talons. Rick hacks away at it. Jonathan stares at the inscription, slightly oblivious. Evelyn started to make movements with her hands.

"It's an Anck symbol, with two little squiggly lines above it, and a bird, a stork! on either side." Jonathan tries to explain as best as he can. Evan is being strangled by Anck-su-namun.

"Ah! Ah! Ahmenophus!" Evan gasped out as she starts to see black spots. Evelyn nodded.

"Yes... I see." Jonathan said. The talons lift Rick up and start to crush him.

"Hootash im Ahmenophus!" Evelyn finished. The giant statue of Anubis instantly freezes in it's tracks and petrifies. It's off balance. Starts to fall. Rick slides free of it's talons. Evan shoves Anck-su-namun away, Anck-su-namun looks up and opens her fetid mouth to scream just as Anubis crashes down on top of her, smashes her to powder and driving her into the ground.

Imhotep shrieks in rage and horror, then turns and angrily heads for Jonathan. Jonathan, sitting on his ass, quickly backpedals on his hands and heels. Rick leaps to his feet, sword in hand and runs for Imhotep. Imhotep grabs Jonathan, lifts him up, rips the golden Book Of The Living out of his hand and pins him to a wall. Evan got up, dizzily.

Rick runs up and swings his sword at Imhotep, WAP! Slices Imhotep's right arm off. It drops to the ground, still clutching The Book Of The Living. Imhotep drops Jonathan and spins around, facing Rick. Rick grins.

"Okay pal, let's see how tough you are without your right arm." Rick teased.
