The rest of that Saturday, Mike and I got to know each other. We played twenty questions about a hundred times, never running out of things to say.
"You really like chocolate sauce on your pepperoni pizza?" I asked Mike with a disgusted face.
"Yes, it's amazing. You have to try it." His face lit up like it was the best he'd ever eaten. I, on the other hand thought it sounded like the most disgusting thing ever created.
"You just have bad taste in food. You like peanut butter." Mike's face scrunched up and he shook his head.
"Who doesn't like peanut butter? You never had peanut butter and jelly as a kid?"
"Of course I did, but I grew up and now it's gross. It's so sticky and peanuty." He just made me laugh because it was just crushed up peanuts. Duh!
"Alright, enough laughing at me. We should probably get out of bed. It's dinner time already." I looked at the clock and then back at him in shock. How had we spent the whole day here talking?
"I am hungry," I said with a flirty smile.
"What would you like? Pizza?" His face lit up and chocolate sauce flashed though my head, making me cringe.
"NO! Anything but that." He leaned forward, kissing me softly and he pulled me down against his chest. I'd become more comfortable with doing this because he'd been finding different ways to kiss me all day. He was respecting my boundaries and I was really starting to like him.
"How about Chinese food?" I asked against his lips and he nodded his head in agreement after he deepened the kiss. As his hands started working their way up under my shirt, I pushed him away slightly. He looked at me sweetly but I knew he wasn't going to let me work him up like that and push him away from long.
"Chinese food sounds great. You want to go back to your dorm first to get some clothes? As much as I love seeing you in my boxers and shirt, I don't want other people checking out my girlfriend." He kissed my cheek and ran his finger up my thigh, giving me goose bumps.
"I like when you call me that," I said as I stood up and looked down at him. He flashed me a heartbreaking smile and stood up, closing the gap between us. I liked that he couldn't keep his hands off me and more than that, I liked that I could tell him anything and he didn't seem to be bothered by any of it. His hands gripped my waist and he lifted me up. I wrapped my arms and legs around him and giggled.
"I feel like a baby monkey attached to its mom." That made him laugh and I couldn't help but smile. I felt safe and it was nice.
"Maybe we can find something to have delivered. I don't want to share you," Mike whispered against my shoulder and I tightened my legs around his waist and I felt Mike getting excited against me.
"Ok big boy. I'm hungry and you're horny so let’s get some food before I pass out from starvation." I kissed his lips quickly and he groaned but put me down. Mike got dressed and we made our way to my dorm. This was the first time we'd been out in public together as an official couple. We held hands and I watched the faces of people around me. Some girls glared at me and I felt Mike tense up a few times. Maybe they were exes or maybe they were just jealous, but either way I knew I was lucky to have Mike.
We finally made it to my dorm and I used my key to unlock the door. Mike and I were talking about Chinese food as we walked in and I laughed when he said egg Fu yuck. I scanned the dorm room, only to gasp and push Mike back out the door. I saw Erica sleeping with someone... other than Brandon. I grunted as I pushed Mike backwards, trying to make sure he didn't see her. Mike and Brandon were friends.
