I took a shower, making small talk with Mike. He seemed to enjoy our alone time with me being naked, flashing him bits of me every now and then to keep him on my good side.
"Mike, do you think I could get a little something to eat?" I asked him as I got dressed in the bathroom. I had my towel wrapped around me, sliding my clean pants on under the towel and pulling the shirt on over my towel, slipping the towel off after. Mike watched my every move, clearly saddened that he hadn't seem more than some thigh and stomach.
"Sure. Are you all dressed?" I looked down at myself and the back to him, nodding my head yes. "Okay, then yes. I'll see what we can find."
Mike left the bathroom first and as he did, I slid the razor into the waistband of the pants I was wearing. I thought that my pockets were a more likely place for them to check, hoping that my waistband wasn't that obvious. I quickly caught back up to Mike and followed him into the living room.
Brandon was sitting on the couch, clearly comfortable without a care in the world. He smiled when he saw me and I forced myself to smile back. Mike looked from Brandon back to me, clearly not liking the exchange.
"Did you enjoy your shower, sweetheart?" His kind words made me want to lash out in anger but I bit the inside of my cheek and nodded yes. In a flash, Brandon was in front of me with his hands around my neck. I gasped and clawed at his hands, trying to remove his grip but clearly unable to.
"What did I tell you about answering me?" He released his grip on my neck and I took a deep breath, caughing slightly. He didn't release me completely, clearly waiting for my answer.
"Yes, I'm sorry. Yes. I enjoyed my shower. Thank you." He placed his thumbs on my jaw and tilted my head so my eyes were aligned with his.
"That's better," Brandon said and he leaned in to kiss me. I felt myself stiffen with fear and he removed his hands, running them around and down my body. He pulled me closer to him and deepened the kiss. I felt my stomach turn and I whimpered under his lips.
"Brandon, stop it. Give her time to adjust to all of this," Mike said in a tone I didn't understand. He sounded controlled and in charge. Brandon's lips left mine immediately and there was somethng in his eyes I'd never seen before. Fear?
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to attack you like that. It's just been so long since we'd been together. I miss you, all of you in every way." He kissed my nose quickly and then stepped back, looking at Mike as he passed us and made his was back to the couch. Mike closed the distance between us and grabbed my hand.
"I'm sorry. He and I talked about this. He said he'd give be more calm and understanding while you adjusted to your new life. I apologize again for his rude behavior."
"It's alright," I said and I smiled up at him. He smiled back and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the kitchen.
"So, what are you in the mood for?" He opened the fridge and stepped to the side, letting me see what was inside. I looked and looked, not seeing anything that appealed to me. I'd been cold since I came here and I wanted something warm.
"Can I have something warm please? I've been so cold, lately." I stumbled over the last word, unsure how he'd react but I didn't see any sway in his features.
"Grilled cheese? How'd that sound?" The second he said cheese my stomach growled and we both laughed.
"It's good to hear you laugh. It's been so long and I really love that sound." My head was spinning from his kind words. Didn't he understand that he and Brandon were the reason I hadn't been happy and laughing lately? All I could do was smile up at him.
