The bell rings, making students scatter left to right.
Wonwoo carefully packs his belongings into his backpack, zipping it up. He feels a hand on his shoulder and turns around to see his best friend, Junhui.
"Hey," Jun grins. "Going anywhere after class?"
"Maybe," Wonwoo replies. "I think I'll go to the school's cafe to work on my homework."
"Can I go with you?" Jun asks.
"Of course," Wonwoo smiles. "Let's go now, then."
"I have nothing to do." Jun shrugs. "So I'll go with you."
"Oh, so I'm just a second choice?" Wonwoo teases. "I thought we were friends, Jun."
Jun's eyes widen. "I didn't mean it like that, obviously, geez." He grabs Wonwoo's arm and tugs him towards the cafe. "Let's go."
Wonwoo laughs, and when they enter the cafe, the aroma of coffee immediately surrounds him, the sound of people chatting fills his ears. He sits down at a table near a window, taking out his laptop.
"I'll go buy two cups of coffee, okay?" Jun asks, and leaves to stand in line.
Wonwoo nods. When he lifts the lid of his laptop and powers it on, however, he squints, reading his battery percentage.
17%
"That's not going to last that long, and I still need to do work." Wonwoo sighs, running a hand through his hair thoughtfully. What to do, what to do.
He glances around, and seated at the table beside him is a male, around his age, probably. He's writing something down on paper. On his table is a laptop charger, unused. Two earbuds are plugged in his ears.
Wonwoo carefully stands up and walks towards the other boy, gently tapping his shoulder, afraid to disturb him. The boy looks up, and Wonwoo is taken aback by his handsome features.
The boy quickly removes his earbuds.
"Uh, I was just wondering if I could borrow your laptop charger," Wonwoo explains. "My laptop's battery is really low. I'll return it to you later, don't worry."
The boy smiles. "Yes, of course!" He picks the charger up and gives it to Wonwoo.
Wonwoo has never seen a more beautiful smile. The boy's smile seems to brighten Wonwoo's mood.
Wonwoo smiles shyly, thanking him. "I really appreciate it."
"No problem." The boy smiles again. "Return it to me whenever, I don't mind."
Wonwoo nods, thanking him again, before sitting back down, plugging the charger into his laptop.
Suddenly, he gets a notification.
"'prince junhui" is sharing a photo"
Wonwoo frowns, lifting his head up. He makes eye contact with Jun from his table.
Jun laughs, pointing at him.
"Stop airdropping me your selfies, Jun." Wonwoo raises his voice so Jun can hear him over the music and voices in the cafe.
