"I've been talking to my dad more these days," Wonwoo hums. "I've been busy the past few months but things are getting less stressful for me, and I've had more time to call back home rather than just texting short text messages."

"That's good," Mingyu smiles. "I'm glad. How's your dad doing?"

"He's doing better." Wonwoo returns the smile, a sight that Mingyu will never grow tired of. Mingyu feels his legs turn to jelly. "He's become less stressed lately."

"That's good." Mingyu replies softly. "He's blessed to have the best son ever."

"My brother?" Wonwoo jokes.

"Wonwoo, please." Mingyu just stares at Wonwoo intently until Wonwoo looks away, flustered. His fingers tug nervously at his own long sleeves.

Mingyu smiles and pulls Wonwoo's hands away, holding them tightly. Wonwoo just looks at him, his head resting on the cold pillow lightly.

Mingyu gazes at him softly, his gaze warm and comforting to Wonwoo, and Wonwoo looks away from his eyes, cheeks feeling warm.

"W-Why do you keep staring at me?" Wonwoo stutters, and Mingyu giggles a bit, in that signature way that Wonwoo knows and loves.

"I'm just thinking about how grateful I am to have met you," Mingyu says softly. "I'm so happy I met you and got to know who you are."

Wonwoo stays silent, his eyes widening slightly, and he just pulls Mingyu's hands towards himself. Mingyu wraps his arm around Wonwoo, leaning closer to him with a smile on his lips.

"And I know a lot of people fall in love with someone who doesn't return their feelings," Mingyu continues. "And that really sucks, but it's not like they can do anything about it. I'm just so grateful that the person I fell for felt the same about me." He runs his fingers through Wonwoo's hair. "Or at least I hope you do." He adds with a laugh.

"I wouldn't be here with you if I didn't," Wonwoo scoffs lightly. A smile spreads across his lips. "Thank you, Mingyu."

"Why are you thanking me?" Mingyu laughs softly, holding Wonwoo even tighter. He nuzzles Wonwoo's hair. "You smell good."

"Uh, okay," Wonwoo laughs breathily. "Thanks, I guess?" A humorous expression appears on his face.

"Of course." Mingyu smiles. "What were you thanking me for before that, though?" He asks him, looking curious. Wonwoo nods and replies.

"For making me feel happy, and just..." Wonwoo trails off softly. "Healing me a lot, from my past?"

Mingyu looks at him with a gaze that Wonwoo's never seen before, from anyone. A gaze that is soft and warm and full of millions of emotions. That's what it feels like to Wonwoo.

Mingyu then just buries his face in Wonwoo's hair, fingers brushing through his hair again, and Wonwoo's nose is overwhelmed by the smell of Mingyu. It relaxes him, and his entire body feels like it's floating on top of a fluffy cloud in a world where everything is pure, happy and just fine. Neverland?

"I just love you so much." Mingyu murmurs. "I love you."

"I lo-" Wonwoo cuts himself off. No, you have to tell him. He takes a deep breath. "I love you too, laptop charger boy."

"You're so cute." Mingyu says softly. "I love you, cheeseburger boy."

"Hey," Wonwoo whispers. "Can we get cheeseburgers together?"
