_______"I'm nervous." Wonwoo stops walking as Mingyu leads him towards the house where his parents live.
"It's going to be fine." Mingyu reassures him. "Who wouldn't fall for you at first sight?"
"Uh, a lot of people?"
"No! You know what, Wonwoo, just shush." Mingyu scoffs and tugs him towards the front door while Wonwoo laughs at his reaction.
Mingyu knocks on the door, and Wonwoo's fingers fiddle nervously with the head of his sweater, his eyes glued on the floor. Mingyu smiles at the cute sight and reaches over to lightly caress Wonwoo's cheek. The door opens, and Wonwoo looks up quickly.
"Mingyu!" A woman exclaims and hugs Mingyu tightly. "I'm so happy right now. I've missd you so much, my precious son."
Mingyu chuckles. "I missed you too, mom." He hugs her tightly. When he pulls away he puts an arm around Wonwoo's shoulders, pulling him closer.
Mingyu's mother eventually turns to look at Wonwoo, and Wonwoo relaxes when he sees her face brighten and she starts to beam, smiling warmly at Wonwoo.
"You must be Wonwoo. I've been looking forward to meeting you." She greets him happily, opening the front door wider. "Come inside, Wonwoo. I'll get you some water to drink." She hurries off to the kitchen, probably, and Mingyu takes Wonwoo's hand. pulling him inside, shutting the door behind them.
"See?" Mingyu gazes at Wonwoo warmly. "She likes you already."
Wonwoo smiles a tiny smile. "I hope so."
"Here!" Mingyu's mother reappears with two glass cups, each with a slice of lemon inside. Wonwoo takes it and thanks her gratefully, and she smiles and beckons for Wonwoo to sit down.
"My husband will be home soon, too." Mrs. Kim says, sitting down across from Wonwoo. Mingyu sits next to Wonwoo, and lightly nudges his shoulder, asking him to move over a bit.
"Mingyu's a bit of an idiot sometimes, but I can tell he really loves you, Wonwoo." Mingyu's mother says as she watches Mingyu sit next to Wonwoo.
Mingyu smiles in amusement and pretends to look offended, while Wonwoo just laughs.
"At keats she said a bit and not a big idiot," Wonwoo reasons with him, and Mingyu's mother laughs.
"Exactly," She nods. "I like you already, Wonwoo. I think you'd be a great son-in-law, actually, just so you know-"
Wonwoo immediately blushes, and when he looks over at Mingyu he says that Mingyu is reacting the same way.
"Mom!" Mingyu whines childishly. "You're making Wonwoo embarrassed!"
His mother raises an eyebrow. "Yeah, Wonwoo. Mingyu has definitely fallen for you completely."
Wonwoo just laughs shyly, pulling at his own sleeves (sweater paws) and looking down at his lap. He feels Mingyu leaning into his side lightly, and looks up to see Mingyu reaching for a cookie on a plate on the table and handing it to Wonwoo.
"When you're ready, I'll have Mingyu help you set up an air mattress in his room that you can sleep on," Mrs. Kim says, and Wonwoo nods. "Want to go now?" She asks, and Wonwoo nods.
As Mingyu's mother stands up and heads towards the hallway, Mingyu stops Wonwoo and whispers in his ear, "Unless you want to share a bed with me."
Wonwoo whacks his arm in embarrassment, cheeks heating up and Mingyu laughs.
"It's not like we haven't done that before," Mingyu shrugs. "Even before we started dating, that one time we fell asleep together?"
