Sarah was dashing towards another base of the U.N.S.A. to hide Leon, as she felt the entire Earth shake with the devastating battle between Paradox and Xeno, as well as the military and the other Souless. She looked down at the limp Leon in her arms, staring at him. How did you lose so easily...idiot... Sarah thought, then she looked forward, dashing into the base. Sarah passed a marine who was waiting for her, dashing towards the couch, placing Leon down onto it. "Marine!" Sarah called out, glancing at him. The marine tensed up and saluted Sarah, knowing very well who she was. "Protect the boy with your life!" Sarah ordered, then she dashed off.

Xeno and Paradox were in the heat of battle, as they clashed mercilessesly with each other. Xeno swung Lancelot over and over, but Paradox simply blocked Xeno's attacks with his spheres, then he spun around and kicked Xeno's sword out of his hand, and slammed his fist into Xeno's gut, sending him stumbling back. Xeno fell to his knees, coughing up his saliva as he used his hands to remain standing. "Well isn't this a shame?" Paradox asked as he walked over to Xeno, smirking. "The Great Xeno Taylor...reduced to nothing by a Souless..." Paradox said as he raised his hand, preparing to strike the final blow. "Your father should be ashamed..." Paradox said, his eyes giving out a cold glare, but before he could strike, he felt a rush of wind slamming into his side, sending him flying towards the wall. Paradox recovered quickly, sliding to his feet...only to see Sarah standing in front of Xeno protectively. Paradox glared at Sarah, then he chuckled to himself. "Kira's lapdog..." Paradox said as he stood up straight, staring at Sarah. "This should be fun..." Sarah simply formed a sword out of thin air, staring at Kira. "You're nothing but a fool." Paradox admitted. "Who serves blindly at a being of deception..." With that, Sarah dashed at Paradox and swung her blade at him, but Paradox raised his finger, sending one of his spheres to block the attack, but Sarah tricked Paradox and spun around, slamming her heel into Paradox's face, then she jumped, doing a back flip over Paradox, and finally slashed at his back, gashing it open. Paradox grunted in pain as Sarah jumped back. Paradox sent one of his spheres to strike Sarah, but Sarah quickly jumped out of the way, and then sent a rush of wind into Paradox's gut, sending him flying, however, Paradox quickly recovered. Sarah only pointed her sword at Paradox, but that didn't stop him. Paradox dashed forward as he sent two of his spheres flying at Sarah, but Sarah quickly bashed them away with her blade, however, by then, it was too late, Paradox slammed his fist into Sarah's gut, sending her flying into the wall. Sarah's eyes widened as she gasped for air, but before she could recover, Paradox grabbed her throat and lifted her into the air. "It's really a shame." Paradox said as he smirked at Sarah. "We could've been a good team..." Paradox claimed as he raised his finger...but the sound of thunder roared in the skies of Earth...and Leon came out of nowhere, slamming his fist into Paradox's face, also sending him flying...Leon had made it in the nick of time.
