Tears

These tears dry on my skin,
Once more.
Every sound goes unheard,
Against the loudest scream.
Losing grip upon these four walls that define me,
Now letting go.
With not much to leave behind.
These colors fade away,
Fade into blacks and whites.
Wilting from this pain,
A flower that never bloomed.

These tears dry on my skin,
Once more.
Giving away to this darkness,
A blanket of darkness around me.
The dead end is here,
This eerie silence creeks.
Shiver in the crisp wind,
Blood runs cold.
Slowly slipping away.

These tears dry on my skin,
Once more.
But now never again.
