A/N: This poem is dedicated to SheHopes Her beautiful Dreamcatcher series is the inspiration to this piece.

The silence in the small room enveloped her,
A feeling she has always loved.

The sound of graphite rubbing against the paper,
Ever so distinct.

As a stroke turns into a line,
A line into a figure,
And the figure into another sketch.

A touch transfers one's nightmares to her,
One touch keeps her awake every night.

The phantom that haunts her,
The curse she carries on her lean body.

Every dream poured on paper,
Countless sketchbooks filled.

Countless sleeping pills consumed,
In attempt to keep those books empty.

To the unknown eye,
She's te artist with insomnia.
But for her,
She's the cursed dreamcatcher.
